anyways, looking at the actresses and their respective performances, seems like it was a really disappointing year, but than again.

Anupama and Rajeev didn't even review that movie forget about calling Shweta.

 Ahhh.. somewhat true. I'd add Taapsee and Bhumi, though. They are also trying to diversify work (and not doing it on the back of some powerful BW man as Aloo does with KJo).

But a somewhat uninspiring year for female characters, for me.
