People want star kids to fail: Sara Ali khan

Sara Ali Khan made an appearance at a conversation with television journalist Barkha Dutt as a part of the ‘We The Women’ summit in Bengaluru. She opened up about what she would do if not for acting, Sara shared, “If not acting then I would be a lawyer or a politician”. She also mentioned that she believes it’s not too late for that and added that she can join politics later

She said, “With any form of privilege, there is a setback to it. You are as burdened as you want to be, and you take as much pressure as you want to. I am acutely aware that I come from a film background and, therefore, the scrutiny and attention I receive is more than it would have been otherwise. But I don’t look at it as a burden, because if I do, then I won’t be able to perform .”

Star children do get it easy, but it also comes with scrutiny and there are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to make a mistake or fall. I am aware of that. But I don’t take all that seriously ,” she further said

Similarly industry kids want outsiders to fail... That's why you laja betas/betis run smear campaigns against them everytime they give a hit, till they proved to be invincible.

No they don't! Star Kids get the most support from the industry! How can she even say that? The industry will do anything for star kids to be successful until they reach their breaking point

What I won't deny is that the audience always roots for outsiders, as they are more relatable in how they achieve their positions. Most people have to work hard for where they are at..and when we see people in BW do this, we like it.

So true... Look at how ppl defend n praise Tara n bash Ananya fir every single thing... Same goes for Sara, Janu, Alu everyone get bashed more than the outsiders.... When an outsiders mov flop they are dragged down n thrashed bt a non actor like Sid M flops many times bt still ppl go awe..

Outsiders don't do that? Kriti S trash everyone arround her, Tara did a smear campaign on Anni pie.. Bechari Tara ignored by Annie n tiger drama.. Every one dies outsider/insider alike bt ppl tend to believe outsiders dukhi daastan n trash insiders

People just want successful people to fail.Not starkids in particular

I disagree about Sid M. Majority of the audience will choose Varun over him. The fact that he is an outsider does not make a difference to most people. The minute Tara, and other outsiders dont prove their talent, they are also rejected. But as of now, when we see star kids getting way better opportunities initially, then yeahh of course we will see this as unfair! The audience is fine with Alia, and now Ananya, Sara if they prove talent. If they keep getting work without the chops, thats when the support becomes annoying.
