Yes, using money wisely & saving can also go a long way. Girls may be a little apprehensive about couch surfing though.

I want to see all those places you've listed - picturesque & full of natural beauty. My ideal place.

Girls can stay with other girls. A lot of girls also host. You have to see who’s verified with good reviews but still have to make your own judgement.

I don’t because I like having my own place but I meet them for drinks and they show me around and you also make new friends. Same with meet up.

These days you can even travel with strangers. There’re apps where people will even pay for your trip and that includes girls 😉

You have to gauge what the guys motives are though but women can sense all this anyway.

I’ve been with some amazing women who paid for my trip even though I can afford it. I wanted to see if they’ll and find me good enough to do so lovingly with open heart 😁 but at the end I paid them back, didn’t feel right.

Watch this starting at 1:25

Go take trips and try to find yourself. But nothing will compare to home. Where there are people everyday who care about you. Like my man Shawn says 🥳

For me personally, travelling is not about finding myself. I just like the experience side of it, it allows you to gain wisdom & breaks your prejudices about other people.

I can't find it now but I remember watching this vlog on YT a while back about these Western people travelling to Hunza Valley. I think one of them said he was surprised about the hospitality and warmth of the people, he didn't expect it (thanks Western Media). Also this other channel called TheFoodRanger was given free food by Pakistani street vendors and shop owners.

Nothing does compare to home - I agree. But that doesn't mean we can't search for and enjoy different experiences.😉

That's cool, I might check it out then! Same here, I also I prefer having my own place.

I have a preference for solo travelling too, haha.😆 I just loooove autonomy. So far, I have had no problems from women or men. Airport security & law enforcement ppl are more of a pain for me (don't worry I don't do anything illegal but I hate long queues and unnecessary rules & regulations).

Wow those women are pretty generous, huh! I am glad you paid them back though.😆

True that 😆

Remember you always have a choice to live however you want - but you must be able to pay the price for that like Bunny. It might be social ostracisation or something else. Those who truly care for you will understand.

Bunny having the courage to follow his dreams (-even tho he gets a huge starter being a boy) is very inspiring! ... I can't completely fly high like him for having a different career path .... but as they say you have to live the fullest while you can ... time won't come back once we get older ... That's what I follow to have no regrets in future!

Hmm I can't say I completely respect the US definition of freedom and independence - it's bordering on recklessness & stupidity. Personally, I think living in Western society has somewhat increased my respect for traditions. I know I said I value freedom a lot, but I do see the value & virtue in traditions too...

Time is indeed our most valuable asset - more and more people are realising this now. Exchanging time for money and wasting away our most valuable years in being a nameless part of the workforce is what we will regret in the future. I know most people don't have a choice for financial or other reasons (including me) - but we can at least attempt to diversify our experiences so we don't have to regret too much later on.

I am not an US born or raised kid! .. Besides every country and their citizens have their own traditions, values and virtues! ... They are as much part of India as is the case with US ... Don't see how that can be exclusive only for India! .. Besides what may be reckless and stupid to you may have a different ounce of meaning to someone else!

US freedom and independence is most definitely I value a lot since I don't have to think what time is it or if there's someone to accompany me if I were to leave my house in middle of the night! ... In that sense I am truly grateful for the years I have spent here after staying in a very masculine dominant area of India!

I didn’t say you were.😛 Reckless and stupid have only one meaning, the effects of these ‘virtues’ can be seen daily in the Western society (particularly in the breakdown of their family unit). I’m not sure how these things can be seen as virtues but each to their own! Traditions and virtues should be measured by their effects in society IMO!

I’m not gonna pretend that I haven’t lived a privileged life and deny that there are problems in traditional society - BUT two negatives definitely don’t make a positive. All I have said is that I see the merit and value in traditions, just as I see the value in freedom!

I have lived in a joint family (-family unit) ... And I see no virtue or values when every other day I have seen chachis fighting for petty things .. So virtues, values, traditions are subjective and also progressive ... they change with time and generation! .. Doesn't mean one has to forget their culture ... you can be faithful to your traditions that suit your life style yet maintain the balance with freedom/independence! ... 😃

This is almost all the back bencher's life philosophy.

They might not be good in studies but they want to live an adventurous life.
