Though I am not as adventurous or thrill-seeking as him, I agree with him about seeking out new experiences...making a life instead of making a living.

What do you think? Is living such a life possible in this day and age?

Also please recommend some movies like YJHD (in other languages too)! I have already watched DCH and ZNMD.😛

Yes I do. He lived on his own terms. He loved to live in moment and being free... He did what he loved... And he was highly career driven person and was very straight forward about it. I can not understand when someone calls bunny manchild...

That's what I loved/respected most about him...takes a lot of courage to carve out your own path in life defying societal expectations and norms.

Just because he didn't like commitment doesn't mean he was a man-child...at least he knew exactly what he wanted from life. How many 'mature' people can claim that? Not many.

There's a popular notion that maturity = seriousness...it doesn't have to be that way. You can be mature and fun-loving at the same time.

Its not like kids these days are staying with their parents or taking care of them in old age. So his philosophy is not unrealistic.

What recommendation you want? DCH, ZNMD and YJHD are all very different films. Except that they are all slice-of-life films.

Hmm...are you implying that he was selfish for pursuing his dreams? ;)

Yes he was selfish. Left behind his dad and friends to explore the world.
