Why has Salman survived as oppose to others

He never stopped trying and kept doing movies despite flops. As I say, hard work never goes waste.

Kareena and Alia are also proof of that.

I don't know? I mean, a lot of his fans are like "bros" with that bro mentality (not all).

He moved on easily even after TL & R3's failures and started working on new things which are looking quite good unlike SRK who seems to be hit a lot with zero flopping bad

He tries to 'reinvent' himself.. but not too drastically.

The characters he plays in the movies becoming Blockbusters are generally something anyone can identify with - not OTT or cray cray ... just normal people going through some extraordinary/ordinary events in some pretty good plots ( not talking abt Race 3 or such.. just the successes)...

The scripts in his BB s are also good. I still watch Bajranghi.. it IS THAT good of a story. EKT was okayish..more entertainment.. then TZH had a much, much better storyline. Sultan is a great story, too. PRDP is simply a very heartwarming rom com I watch (way too much- and I hate romcoms).

And he seems to be able to pull at the emotiobnal string at the cinegoers through his roles. People simply adore his characters. ( I am not a 'fan' per se, but I think I have watched pretty much everything I coluld put my hands on with English subs.. so I say this from personal observations).

People are fan of his offscreen image than his movies.

It's not that he'll survive forever.

Salman always had a loyal fandom to fall back on in spite of flops. He is surviving primarily due to his fandom. That's why Bhai always does roles that would appeal to his fandom and that helps....
