Ok @pallavi25..I dont see the need to justify anything to you, but just so that you know, Fan's second half was a horrible drag, Raees was half baked and neither here nor there and Dear Zindagi was an Alia Bhatt movie with SRK in an extended cameo (btw he was well suited in it..specially the Kursi scene was my favourite!)

The landscape of entertainment changed. Everyone has access to diversified contents. If you can't offer the same to people, then you are finished. Last year, most of the films were good and did incredibly good. SRK doesn't seem to believe in radical change. Even though TOH flopped, you have to give it to Amir, he changed, succeeded and was decade ahead. Amir had ghajni, TZP, 3I and SRK had RNBDJ, CDI, MNIK which are different from each other. Amir pursued differentiated contents while SRK went backward.

I do not understand why you are so hang up on the idea that this thread is negative. On the whole, I'd say everyone expressed opinions in a decent manner and with respect towards SRK..

Just because you do not agree with their views does not mean that they are here to 'bash'. On the contrary.. what I got from reading the posts is that most like SRK and wish he got better movies.. or movies that did better than they did.

Regarding the movies: the fan perception is one.. the outside reality/perception is another.You might see the WW total as a succes but Indian BO doesn't work on WW figures. (whether this is influenced by politics or not, feel free to discuss, I am not one to know such thing)

Also he is THE SRK.. of course people want his movies to be massive hits and be like the other Khans- at top, hitting 250-300-350 cr.. Why would you want him to be compared with Akki's or Ajay's 100 cr movies ? Wouldn't you want him to rule the BO?

Please stop attackign posters and I will reply to the best of my knowledge. Yes I have limited knowledge but you view these opinions through fan-tinted glasses.

Look again how many times I have actually stated I like many of his movies and I defended SRK when the newbie posted that post.

He needs to stop adding "thrills" from his side to the writer/director' version. It worked in first decade of this millennium but has not since the advent of second decade. The sooner he realises it the better his movies will become.
