I blame the cvs for the timing and such insensitive portrayal of women like nandini . Yes kunal is more guilty than her because he was the one who initiated it and corrupted nandinis mind ...from the point nandini accepted his dirty proposal , both are equally guilty..in that particular scene when they had sex , both were equally guilty . They are adults and they know the consequence of such actions ? The sex was consensual , both wanted it , both could have stopped themselves before crossing the line ..I blame the cvs again for showing that sorry guilty face of kunal post this kaand. As if he is being carried away but he sees no mistake ..there have been no conversations between nandini and kunal uptil now so we don't know what's there in their mind so we are left to judge them according to their actions . The most irksome is that they seem to be in their lala land completely ignoring the thought of facing mauli ..they are not guilty not scared not owe up to whatever they are doing and consider themselves to be in a.bliss while everything is hidden ..

If kunal had called mauli than he can't do Huggs/kisses/cuddling in front of mauli so why would he called her and may be he thinks he is more than enough to save and take care of Nandini.

Kunal is not interested in mauli - Nandini friendship. He doesn't care about they remains friends or not. He is only interested in having steamy physical affair with Nandini via Huggs/cuddles/fake promises/ lusty sex/ flirty eye talks / cheap body contacts .

N stop this name calling rant. I agree some people crossed their limit in using language but many using languages in their limits n jo nahi kar rahe aap log to ho hi usko report karne ke liye. N nandini ki bashing uski harkato ki wajah se ho rahi hai ab ek cheater n mistress ki puja to hogi nahi. Here people r using afoul language only but reality me to aiso ki acchese pitai hoti hai. N thankgod in this forum people know the difference between actors n character no one is bashing dd nahi to hote hai kuch log apna side sahi proof karne ke liye actors ko bashed karte hai..

Neither is better or worse than the other.Whenever one tries to do something right or feel a normal human emotion the other one pulls the first one back.Nandini decided to leave the city but kunal stopped her.Kunal was feeling the normal human emotion of guilt after cheating on his wife but nandini pulled him back in the dreamland where you don't talk about practical things like "so what will we do now" but spew poetic bullshit about "now whatever this is it is ours good or bad, happy or sad, poop or piss."But I suppose it is easier to get all poetic when you have somebody else taking care of trivial things like money and jobs.
I agree kunal should have known better than to sleep with nandini in that state.Nandini is anyway not human,no torture has deep psychological impact on her.She is molested during the night and she is being coy the next morning. She is attacked again after one day but she is ready to have sex just hour after.May be kunal too is baffled by the non human entity that is nandini so he did what one wouldn't do with another human given the state the latter is in.Or may be he is just with her for sex.

Why did he not hold back and control himself? Knowing Nandini was not stable at the time he decided to go ahead and have sex..isn't that taking advantage of the situation they were in and her frame of mind ?

the answer to your question would depend on a lot on how one views kunal. if we accept that he loves nandini deeply, then them sleeping together was very much consensual and expected.

used to be a voracious reader of romance novels (MBs, harlequins as well as writers like Julie Garwood etc) and so this kind of moment -- some sort of traumatic moment leading to passionate night -- is a staple of unexpected baby trope.

there is a whole category of books that have this kind of scene. the traumatic moment can be anything but has often got to do with dealing with emotional loss like death or some sort of abuse (could be parent or spouse) or some sort of emotional issues like low self-esteem or depression.

for example, the husband dies, the wife is grieving for seasons on end. a friend tries to help her and there are arguments and the next thing you know there is a passionate night. the next morning, they are confused, guilty, angry. they distance themselves from each other but then she finds herself pregnant and the journey together begins. and so the passionate night is often used by the author to showcase a sort of healing. usually, after this point, the character that is in the pits starts slowly starts changing their life on their own.

of course, in romance novels, (unless it is in the gothic category like jane eyre), the two people are single. however, in some novels, the guy may not be single but may have a girlfriend or someone he is seeing casually or someone chasing him and then that knot has to be unraveled for the two leads to be together...

now, why kunal crossed the line? did he take advantage of an emotional woman who was not in her senses? did he just succumb to lust? or was it an attempt to provide some comfort and that crossed into a passionate moment? -- the answer would depend on how you see kunal...
