What reason did Kunal have to cross the line

So according to the episode Nandini was terrified because of the incident that took place with her house covered in blood and threats written all over her wall. She was visibly disturbed and shaken. Then came Kunal who tried to calm her down at that moment when she was covered in blood and was emotionally disturbed .After that they crossed the line. Here I want to point out Nandini was emotionally vulnerable and disturbed, yes not an excuse for cheating but I am trying to go by their narrative .On the other hand Kunal was perfectly fine and in the right frame of mind. Why then did he cross the line knowing Nandini was not in the right frame of mind and the best thing to do would be to walk away? Why did he not hold back and control himself? Knowing Nandini was not stable at the time he decided to go ahead and have sex..isn't that taking advantage of the situation they were in and her frame of mind ?

Because he is lusty, doesn't think from his head but from some another part of the body.. He is man with absolute no self-control.. His priorities are absolutely misplaced.. He pretends to be nice but like all hypocrites he doesn't have the integrity to continue goodness..
But I don't really agree with Nandini's assessment.. She appeared more desperate than confused and nowhere like a victim who has been abused minutes before..

I was counseling a woman who filed rape charges against her friend. She had never drank, but they all had graduated and so had gone to a club to celebrate. She has few drinks there as a dare and gets drunk. This guy was her friend and kind of crush so she flirts with him a bit, he was the designated driver so he was completely sober. Anyway, while taking her home again they flirt a bit in the car and she says she wants to go sightseeing- at 3am. They go to this remote place and they talk she initiates a kiss. After that they had sex. She was totally inibreiated and when she came to she cannot believe that her friend would do that do her. Long story short he was convicted of raping her. The sentencing judge said, given the fact that the girl was in no position to consent and the other party was absolutely sober even if she had consented, under the law that would be void.

The reason for this story is that whilst I am holding Nandini 100% accountable kunal is just as guilty. He can show his guilt for few moments but remember he started this whole thing. He initiated every single conversations, didn't let her go, and said their love is sacred but then keeps on hiding that love.

Nandini I am upset because of her cheating her friend, many times trauma will make you want to crave human touch. Is that an excuse to justify what Nandini did? NO but kunal should have left. Another thing I don't understand is that Nandini has gone through extreme sexual trauma so it goes against that to crave sex. If it was just physical abuse I would have bought it but not when it's sexual abuse too.

Kunal is not a baby that anyone can force him and what's the point of few minutes guilt? Later on he again stops her when she was going and blabbers some dialogue.

At this point I hold kunal and Rajdeep in the same bucket and Nandini is in another category all together. I am watching this show for Mauli only now and those two cheaters are lost cause - and no amount of redemption will change my view sadly.

She just stoped him ..he should have consoled but he carried away...
And people are saying nandini manipulating kunal ...I want to ask is it kunal who fell for nandini first or nandini fell for kunal?
Isn't it kunal who stopped her going from the city?
Isn't it kunal who came to her house that day?
Is kunal small boy to get manipulated that easily...?
People just want to out all the blame on nandini that's it..kunal ki koi galti hain hi nahi

Lust. Lack of self-control. Lack of a functioning moral compass.

Makes me question his credentials as a doctor. Like as a doctor, he should know better. Maybe he should review his mental health notes from med school. Anyone who understands basic trauma care, which he should if he is an adequate doctor, would know that having sex with a person who was sexually assaulted like 24 hrs ago and is now traumatized/in shock is inappropriate. Because at that point, consent is kind of questionable.

At the same time, being in trauma does not excuse being a selfish, characterless person.. but that's another topic.

He is most definitely. In fact I don't understand the brownie points he is being given for having "GUILT".Like what GUILT? You run behind this woman, literally BLOCK her from leaving the city, force her into admitting her love for him, convince her that their affair is RIGHT and in no way wrong,go ahead and have sex with her and then next day you have second thoughts over what you called true love few days ago? What about those big big promises he made to her ..dharti ki kasam Mao tumse sacha pyar karta hu etc etc. Nandini's feelings aren't changing from day to day but Kunal's are. One day he goes screaming that his l9ve for her is true and he will always be there for her and the next moment he is reconsidering meeting his true l9ve one day after having sex with her. If that isn't hypocrisy I don't know what is.
About Nandini I see it differently Jiggy. Nandini isn't like any other normal woman out there and that was made clear from day one. She has a history of physical and mental abuse.Sometimes when you are coming out of years of abuse from your partner you tend to yearn for love and attention and that is what Kunal gave her. When Kunal was rubbing the blood from her body and comforting her she didn't want to let go of him.She wanted to feel loved at that moment. Was she being selfish? Yes without a doubt. Was she wrong?Again yes without a doubt. But sometimes in life you just can't predict how you would react given an extreme situation. Human feelings are the most unpredictable in the world.8dealistically she shouldn't have done what she did but realism and idealism don't always go hand in hand. Also I don't think it is completely unnatural for abuse victims to want to have sex or feel loved. For some it is their way of recuperation of the pain and hate they were subjected to,when all they want to feel is how it is to be loved.

That is exactly what I asked too. Kunal was the one that started the emotional manipulation. It was him who ran behind Nandini, blocked her way on the station ,confessed his 'true love for her swearing on earth moon and god knows what not and convince her it is the right thing to do.Next he goes to her house ,has sex with her when she is visibly disturbed and right the next day he is having second thoughts on meeting and messaging what he called his true love? Itna GUILT tha toh why did you have sex,why did you tell her you l8ved her,why did you promise to be there for her in good and bad,why did you tell her you were doing the right thing? Just because he is confused between the two ladies so that makes him better than N now? Ye kya logic hua Bhaiya?

I am really sorry for what happened to your friend and I really hope she is in a happy space today. And this is exactly what I am trying to say. Nandini is wrong but EQYALLY wrong is Kunal too. Why spare him because ohi he feels 'GUILT now after making l9ng promises to N and having sex with her. Kind of gives the impression that all his big promises to her on true love was hogwash and basically all he wanted was just sex. Sorry but two minutes of so called guilt doesn't make him any better than Nandini. Her feelings aren't changing everyday but his is. One day he doesn't want her to leave his house and next day he wants to avoid her. He probably will dump N at the end at that should be a lesson for N for having trusted this douchebag over her best friend

Thank you dear, she was a client not a friend but yes she is in a very happy space now- completing her PhD in Psychology and she wants to be a sexual trauma counselor.

I have never liked kunal even when he was not cheating, he is a very immature person and doesn't think long term. Some is my personal preference as well - looks wise I prefer manly man and nature wise I like intelligent and calm men. Kunal was all over the place.

He is the main culprit as far as I am concerned. His guilt would have been useful had he not stopped her from leaving. He sprouts big dialogues and calls his love sacred and does everything opposite. He has told Nandini about this godly love and that baba was no help so now it's cluster fudge. I didn't get that why was he shocked? Like he is a virgin and had never had sex before? What was he thinking sitting down on that bed?

As I have said before Nandini needs counseling so bad she is twisted but that in no way justifies what she is doing. She is going to be dumped I know that but I don't want Mauli to take this loser back. He needs to be held accountable for his part and more so as Nandini has reason, what's his excuse?
