How does it even matter? This is just a formality. Not like she will start reciting 5 times Namaz, fast in Ramzan etc. There was their interview video on YouTube post their reception in mumbai, she was asked about this, she clearly said that she will remain 'Dipika' for her friends, fans and others, religion conversion was personal decision and she doesnt wish to talk about it. It was like pick up one Muslim name just for Nikah. Baaki, you dont become Hindu, Muslim or Christian by name. She can keep one Christian name as well and recite 2-3 paragraph of Bible. It doesn't matter until and unless you truely wish to follow that religion.

Dipika is not a small kid. She's an adult. If she changed her religion with her own will and her parents also supported her, why are members here bashing her for doing that?
Nowhere it's written in the article that Shoaib forced her to change the religion. What's wrong in changing a religion to marry the love of ur life?I really feel members are being unfair to her by bashing her. Just because they won't change their religion that doesn't mean others are wrong. If she leads a happy life with her husband for the rest of her life then it's a good thing. Why should she sacrifice her happiness because they belong to different religions? Of course they could have done a court marriage but it's their choice and mutual decision. Who are we to judge them?
exactly, just coz she has said she has converted doesn't mean she is gonna follow islam properly, from the looks of it shoaib doesnt seem to follow islam properly either, its just a formality for them, so i really dont see the big deal here

I have a genuine question. Please don't consider it derogatory but how does one become a practicing or a non practicing Hindu/Muslim/Sikh/Christian. I believe in almighty and his love for his children. Does that make me a practicing dash religion person?

What is there to be proud of it? This is not some achievement?
And if its her personal matter , then why give interview regarding this and then expect people not to be judgmental?
