It's not shoaib's fault. I am seeing only Deepika's fault here. She was in relationship with him for more than 6 years. She must have met his family number of times. Religion is not that small issue that can be neglected just like that. Groom's family surely have cleared their opinion on her religious beliefs but it appears that she accepted willingly. It was her fault totally. Society makes demands every times. It's still up to you. If she so brainless to accept this, we can't blame anyone else. For me Hinduism is Part of my identity but looks like Deepika doesn'tthink the same

If religion was hindrance, both could have converted to some other religion.. key thing being Both. Why one side make a sacrifice.

Forget about religion, i am not changing my last name to become Mrs. something, religion.

& why not go through legal way and special marriage act?🤔

There r some Muslims who don't ask thier wives/husbands to convert, but there r many that do require that the person convert to get married, so the person shud think for themselves bout wat they r willing to do or not do before they get into a relationship

Dipika knew Wat she was getting into wen she wanted to marry shoaib, she knew he was a muslim, and it's her decision to convert whether she did it for marriage or with her own free will

One of my colleague was also involved with a Muslim Girl, who was asking him to convert to get married, but his mom wasnt ready, she said i will accept a muslim girl, will also allow her to follow her religion but wont allow you to convert, so they broke up... but if people are involved then they give up on the religion part... But I think its high time that everyone lets others follow whatever they want to follow, even if its the same family...

I have a very cool friend with even cooler parents, his dad was Muslim, mom was christian, and he has one sister. My friend chose to follow Muslim practices because he likes them and his sister chose Christianity because she likes those and his girlfriend is Hindu 😆😆 She comes from a rich family and she wants to get married under 3 traditions, Hindu, Muslim and christian..haha..
