P.S. I found the king on whom Vallabh is based. So Prithvi Vallabh by K.M.Munshi is actually based on Vakapati Munj of Paramara dynasty. He was the uncle of Raja Bhoj of Malwa. From what I can recall the time period of the novel is set during during 915 CE, when the war between Rashtrakuta and Chalukya of Kalyani. This is the very time period in which the Paramara dynasty rose to its peak and fall. Damn I had dismissed Prithvi Vallabh to be no more than a historical fiction when it actually has elements of history in it. Seems like I need to give it a re-read and find about Vakapati Munj.
P.P.S. I haven't still found Tailapa I. Khoj jari hai. 😆
