This is one of many scenarios that played on in my head with regards to the current track, hope you guys enjoy reading it!
Karan and Preeta follow Sherlyn and the hooded guy in the car, the water having rendered Karan's phone useless, leaving them without any proof. Karan keeps driving really fast in order to make sure they don't lose sight of the other vehicle. Being in his favorite Porsche gives him strong control and speed advantage and he catches up in no time.
Preeta: Karan itni tez gaadi mat chalao, kahi accident ho gaya to?
Karan: Miss Mental, chup karogi, tumhari baaton ke chakkar main us monster car ka peecha chut jayega.
Preeta: Are, to theek hai, main bhi to yehi chahti hu ki hum Sherlyn ko proof ke saath pakde.
Karan: Ab yeh pakadne ki baat kaha se aa gayi?
Preeta: Mera matlab hai ki hum proof hi capture karenge.
Karan: To fir tum confusing baatein kyon kar rahi ho?
Preeta: Main confusing baatein kar rahi hu ya tum?
Karan: Ajeeb pagal ho tum yaar.
Preeta: Tum hi se seekha hai yeh sab pagalpan.
Karan: Achcha ji, to mujhe main kuch seekhne ke layak bhi hai?
Preeta: Of course hai...
Karan: What? What did you just say? Was that a compliment?
Preeta: Uh... Woh... Mera matlab hai...
Karan: Ha, tum rehne do, yeh matlab vatlab sab samajhta hu main.
Preeta: Achcha theek hai, ab zara driving pe concentrate karoge?
Karan: Tum chup rahogi?
Preeta puts a finger on her lips to signify she will remain quiet. Their petty arguments are far too trivial in the grand scheme of things, they need to get evidence against Sherlyn at any cost.
Karan takes one look at Preeta, and is mesmerized by her gesture (Sajna, naino ke teer chal gaye... plays in background). The car starts to go sideways and Preeta hurriedly holds the steering wheel, turning it to make the car straight, and as her hand touches his hand (Ranjhana season se dil sil gaye... plays in background). They share an eye lock and Preeta realizes she's still got her hand on his, she quickly moves it away.
Preeta: Um, woh car...
Karan wonders why all the girls want to hold his hand, want a kiss from him, want to be with him, but Preeta acts like she's touched something thorny as soon as she touches him by mistake. He quickly tells himself that he shouldn't be thinking about all this, as it shouldn't matter what she thinks about him or how she behaves. Maybe deep down she does love him and is just trying to hide it very well. Maybe she thinks this way she will get his attention. He again reminds himself that he's giving her all the attention she's secretly craving. So he makes a serious face and keeps driving.
Preeta: Ab itna serious kyon ho gaye? Maine kuch keh diya kya?
Preeta wonders if she said something, but realizes she didn't even scold him for going off track. Then why?
Both remain quiet for a while and time passes by while they're still following the hooded man's car. Lost in thoughts and wondering how long it will take for Sherlyn to reach her destination, he pulls up too close to their car and the hooded man notices the car has been following them for a while. He tries to look at the person driving the car and realizes its Karan.
Hooded man: Tum toh keh rahi thi ki kisi ko tum pe shak nahi hua, toh fir woh cricketer Karan hamara peecha kyu kar raha hai?
Sherlyn: Kya? Karan? Kaha?
Hooded man: Zara peeche ki ore nazar maro, apne aap pata chal jayega.
Sherlyn looks back and notices Karan's Porsche. She starts to panic. She wonders why Karan is following them. She realizes he definitely knows about their truth. Meanwhile the hooded guy starts to drive rashly and speeds up his 4x4. A long, cumbersome car chase begins. Soon both cars are out of the city and into rocky hills leading out into the wilderness. Karan realizes they're going off track as they might know they're being followed.
Preeta: Hum toh kitni door aa gaye hai? Yeh jagah bhi kaun si hai? Mumbai toh nahi lag raha?
Karan: Oh, tumhe abhi pata chala hai ki hum Mumbai main nahi hai? Arre Miss Mental hum Mumbai kabka peeche chod ke aa gaye hai.
Preeta: Kya? Aur tumne mujhe bataya bhi nahi?
Karan: Arre meri Ma, chup ho jao. Mujhe lagta hai ki Sherlyn ko pata chal gaya hai ki hum uska peecha kar rahe hai.
Preeta: Kya? Sherlyn ko kaise pata chala?
Karan: Arre dumbo, mujhe kya pata? Use phone karke puch le?
Preeta: Ha... Mera matlab hai nahi.
Just as they're arguing, the hooded man pulls up the car into one of the side hedges, and waits for Karan's car to pass. Karan keeps driving and doesn't see the car up ahead, starts to slow down and soon reaches a split road. He stops his car and wonders.
Preeta: Arre, gaadi kyo rok di? Ab kya hua?
Karan: Tumhare paas dimaag to nahi hai, par kya aakhen bhi nahi hai? Age dekho, kahi car dikhayi de rahi hai?
Preeta: Oh, nahi to... Ab kya karein?
Karan: Aur mushkil yeh hai ki in dono main se kaun sa raasta liya hoha who bhi nahi pata.
Meanwhile Sherlyn complains.
Sherlyn: Arre, tum unhe waise hi jaane doge kya? Woh hamara raaz jaan gaye hai.
Hooded man: Woh?
Sherlyn: Mujhe pata hai, zaroor who Preeta hi Karan ko lekar aayi hogi.
Hooded man: Ab to kuch karna hi padega.
He speeds up his car back on the road, pulls up on the inside of the Porsche and hits across with full force. Karan and Preeta are arguing and Karan rushes to take control of his spinning steering wheel, but its too late. The car starts to spin out of control and dangles off the cliff. Preeta takes a moment to make sense of what has just happened. Meanwhile Sherlyn complains that their car wasn't hit hard enough, while the hooded man says one stroke with his big monster 4x4 is enough and they drive off. Karan immediately looks at Preeta.
Karan: Are you okay?
Preeta: Huh?
She looks around and realizes they're dangling off the hill.
Preeta: Karan mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai, hum kaha hai?
Karan knows what just happened, but doesn't want to share that the car will eventually fall down. He opens his door to find there is nothing to step onto and he'd be leaping into thin air and fall to death if he jumped out. He tries to stay calm but he is worried for he suspects they won't survive.
Karan: Preeta, look at me.
Preeta: Lekin Karan...
Karan holds her hand, looks into her eyes...
Karan: Just look at me...
Rom rom tera naam pukaare, Ek huye din rain hamaare, Hum se hum hi chhin gaye, Jab se dekhe nain tihaare, Sajda... song plays in background in slow version.
And before they get lost in each other completely the car starts to plummet down, hitting giant boulders and trees along the way. Karan doesn't let go of Preeta's hand and she closes her eyes. The engine soon catches fire and hits the ground, pieces rumbling off.
