Feminism is being dragged through the mud by the likes of Barkha, Kangana , Shobha and many more people who misuse the term to their advantage...Real feminism means equality...First achieve that by helping and supporting the people who are in real need...There are so many women suffering through inequality and who do we fight for? For the likes of Kangana, who is quite capable of fighting her own fight...Feminism is diluted into mere political correctness and who said what...There is no real action happening anyway!
Everyday, likes of politicians misuse constitution, democracy etc. Everyday Indians violate zillions laws right from traffic rules, to urinating on the streets etc..does that ever affect the basic concept of these terms or do we start turning down constitution, democracy, laws, Courts etc. Doesn't matter what few women do or say about feminism , that concept should be held above. By mentioning their names you are undermining the concept and in turn agreeing that only such women define feminism.
Yes, feminism is ensuring women equal rights but it cannot be done unless we elevate and empower women enough to voice freely their issues.
In a country where 2 girls without any proof went against a Baba and had to fight his clout for 10 years, this abuse of privilege is not uncommon.
I am sure, the truth will come out, and hope both parties take this to the court and go for trial. Whoever is found guilty should be severely punished and I am sure the same media who you think sided with kangy will thump down on her.
