Give her a look like Kajol had in the KJO classic KKHH with the silly wig, barely groomed, lines like "Shaadi ek baar hota hain" and then have the hero fall in love with her the minute he sees her in a sari. KKHH is complete nonsense. Yet it still works 20 years later because of the gazebo scene and the two actors who had blazing chemistry which is two actors who are perfectly in sync. Who do not need music or dialog, not just look good together.

Kajol's speciality is making you not hate her when you cry with her as she cries for the Baazigar, a man who ruthlessly and without remorse murdered her innocent sister.

Alia needs a good script to act. Else she is meh. Kajol's speciality is making an ordinary role extraordinary because she is in it.

As for Kajol her chemistry with SRK started before he was "SRK" and without KKHH, there would be no big Dharma for KJO to hand over projects to Alia. KJO himself ungratefully called Dharma a flop company before he took over and the people who encouraged him to direct were SRK and Kajol , an infamous conversation on the terrace of Mannat. So before Alia had KJO and Dharma handing over roles to her like candy, thank goodness he had people like SRK and Kajol who used their stardom to gloss over the crap he wrote.

So again, nothing to do with her actually getting a role without him though to give where credit is due Alia is hardworking and ambitious unlike Kajol. The discussion is talent and here I believe Kajol is and can do both roles better. But she is extraordinarily lazy.

@Red You're joking right ? This is why I mock TV people. You will attack people who think KSG is nothing but you think Ajay is nothing ? LMAO. He has a 25 year career in BW as a hero looking like he does, 2 national awards and as for being a flop, he is a son of a BW stunt choreographer so no big BW family. But has made enough money in BW to buy a private plane. And I do believe If that is a flop well I guess the dictionary needs to change its meaning.
