Now you have to wonder if Vicky gets kidnapped, I think Sona might at first help him without telling Dev
Which could tie into today. Also why is Vicky befriending Soha?

Lol I didn't mean to point anything out. I had actually understood the term as you used it. I was just articulating why it would be so hard for Sona to convince Dev to think that what he is doing is wrong. Sona definitely needs to start putting Dev's actions in perspective and I think especially with how her actions have triggered this behavior from him. Clearly he wasn't doing all this up till the moment she was in trouble. Since then its just been one traumatic circumstance after another.

ooof! Long day!

Finally Finally watched the episode.

All I can say is that Dev is insane. I think he's snapped. I know people said he was in hulk mode and people were making fun that he is like Maya, but he really was Maya like in the last few scenes with Sona 😲

he wants to control like her every single move. Literally I think he wants to know if she drinks a glass of water, next she'll have to write a journal for him of her every move 😕😆

in all seriousness, i think the fear of god is gotten to him. He feels like he's losing control and that anything from anywhere, and anyone can take away Sona from him. I think Sona was going to try to reason with him but i don't blame her for being disturbed in the last scene, with wall banging and grabbing, i would be scared too. I don't even think Sona talking to him will snap him out of this, something has to happen again. I don't even know what Sona can do at this point. Day before I would have agreed with everyone and said she should speak her heart to him and let him in, but this Dev isn't going to listen. I think he has to almost lose her to become rational again, weirdly speaking.

based on the summaries and posts, i knew he was going to be intense, but i did not expect him to be THAT intense.

also i would not surprised if no one told Dev and he heard because he has like cameras on Sona's every move. I would not be shocked at this point.

Thank you! I am so glad somebody actually has same sort of thoughts as mine.I have been saying this since the beginning of this track but nobody noticed lol.

I think the only thing which can snap him out of it is either Sonakshi/Suhana leaving or Suhana/Sonakshi getting scared/hurt of/by him.That will only stop him.

I wrote this in another post(will copy it here)...

I understand Dev is scared of loosing her but that doesn't mean you will stop her from going out completely or even if she goes,follow her everywhere.Like for example, we all know,how unsafe it is for women today but that doesn't mean we sit at home or couples who have daughters are also scared for their daughter's safety but do they ask them to sit at home.They have to overcome their fear and let her go to live her life.

Hone ko toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai.Anything can happen anytime..I would have accepted Dev's behavior as normal if he would have been worried about Sonakshi leaving him again or Somebody creating MU's between them just like Vicky did or even Ishwari.But these are not the reasons of his fear.And how is he so sure that Sonakshi will be safe at home?What if she falls down the stairs?or gets some disease or falls sick due to something else,etc.Anything can happen.

Right now, he is not doubting her love, but all his actions and words are result of his fear(which is too much) which i think a normal person till now would have overcome.

In the precap, Soha met with an accident,so will Dev now stop Suhana also from going to school and arrange home tuitions for her in the name of protection.

Everybody is busy bashing Sona or sympathising with Dev but noone is focusing on the actual issue.

Focus should be on Dev and his actions.I am getting scared for Dev.I am glad Sonakshi is noticing the changes.Such deep psychological issues need to be addressed sooner.Just loving Dev won't solve the problem.

Do you think all this is heading towards a track where Sonakshi will want to consult a psychologist/psychiatrist(whatever it is - i don't know the difference) which will not go down well with Ishwari initially (to old generation- having psychological issues = madness) - one more new generation issue addressed😳like' Live-in track','old generation (Ishu's job)wanting to make their own identity' track.

I remember your post from before...and boy do I now agree after seeing the episode. I mean I love possessive Dev don't get me wrong. 😳 As a viewer I love it 😆

but as far as for Sona in the show, I think you are right, I think the latter will happen though i think he is going to try so hard to control everything that he will end up hurting Sona instead.

Oh! i love it too😆 but this is a serious track.

I don' think this Dev would listen to her at this point in time. He's too far out of control.

Also agree, what is he going to do? lock Sona in the house? Make her a housewife? wrap her in plastic bubble wrap?

I don't think this will have anything to do with mental illness, but I do think something big is about to happen, because how long can this suffocation go on? this has nothing to do with Love. I know they love each other, but his need for control now is too much.

In the precap, i was like "who are you, her father?" tum ab ghar se kaam karogi

what??? seriously? I don't even want to know what happens when he finds out she gets irritated and leaves for a meeting. he'll go insane. I don't know where this goes now. Next thing you know he'll want Soha to be home schooled and Sona to be her teacher.

One thing I will say is that I personally LOVE this track, because it's finally about them and i'm a person who loves internal drama especially in love stories. My favorite tracks are when couples can't be together or are in this type of intense fight. They ignite so much passion in their scenes 😳

I was getting annoyed at everyone else getting so much screen time, this track is about Dev and Sona and that to me is the best part.

time will tell where this goes though. If I had to guess, his need for control will cause Sona some physical pain/accident, its the only way to snap him out of it. Right now no emotional heart to heart will work. He won't even listen to his own mom at this point.

On a side note though, what a change from Season 1 to season 2 regarding his mother. He loves his mom, but it's like he's transferred all of his love/fear to Sona now. 😆 Loving Ish now too.

also bechara boses, who is going to tell them all this? 😆 THey are so happy with Ronita, they have NO idea what is going on in their daughter's home.

also lastly, going back to who told Dev, i think he might have either 1 had cameras installed on Sona or over heard, because do you guys remember, when elena told sona you have to tell Dev, and Dev goes what? ...he then says What did Vicky do? I think he knew then and wanted them to tell him.

Well, an explosive episode. Dev has been driven to be the way he is thanks to his loving loving family including his do.. GOODER for the world Mahaan wife. I am glad he is taking control. I hope the makers don't go overboard with his control freak pattern and hope he tones down a bit after the crisis. For once I could really applaud him for his ruthless unforgiving attitude

Sonakshi... You can't be forgiving everyone in this world except the one who cares for you the most

I liked this Dev Dixit (pls makers don't make him a Maya though)

I am sure he will become normal if he gets support and affection from the people he cares for and loves. No other psychological treatment reqd.

He has allowed others to control his life and is paying heavily for it.

but this is not how you take control, its one thing to be assertive, its another to be crazy.

a rational person doesn't control someone like the way he wants to control Sona. He wouldn't even let her talk, he told her not to say anything. no amount of affection is going to help him in my view.

he has to snap back out of it somehow.

just my view.
