I personally found all the 4 leads of Kundali Bhagya unappealing like the show's concept.
Maybe because their character sketches are true copy of the KKB leads.
But then, I feel that the actors casted in the lead roles don't really justify their characterization as I saw in the promo.
Shraddha Arya is a great actress, but from the promo,I think she just chose the wrong role for her comeback
I've always seen Shraddha playing powerful characters and this Preeta character is tad too a weak character for her.
See, I may be proved wrong as KDB progresses , but as I've seen in past shows, when powerful actors do weak roles (read:submissive in attribute) , they end up looking even more weaker than they were intended too.
Anjum,since her character is an aspiring model, she justifies her character by her sheer height.
But her acting doesn't impress me even a little as she comes off too loud and OTT.
I Feel Ekta could've chosen a girl with slight softer features
Shraddha do manage to look like Sriti and Mrunal's sister, but Anjum sticks out like a sore thumb
Monit Joura as Risabh is the only guy who seriously impressed me right from the 1st frame.
He absolutely has the charisma and screen presence to play the hotshot talent manager as his character has been described in the promo
The only concern about Monit is his voice.
Its too squeaky and causes me ear sore if I hear him ranting dialogues for too long
His promo voice seems to be dubbed and dubbing guy did a very good job.
I hope he stays through the serials.
Now let's come to the last but definitely the worst guy in the entire promo.
Karan Luthria or Chhabria or WTH is his name is supposed to be the hottest,coolest and the most talented cricketer all around the planet Bhagya.
The coolest thing ever some TV writer came to Nikhil Khoda from The Zoya Factor(well, he's one of my favourite fictional characters)
But the actor chosen just put a bucket full of water on my hopes.
Dheeraj Dhoopar comes out as a piece of rotten bread as the cool cricketer.
His screen presence is just bland and his acting bored me to death.
I feel that a plastic cricket bat could've done a better job than Dheeraj. 🤣
Looks, well, even virat kohli (well, it seems VK is a big inspiration while characterizing Karan Chhabria)isn't that handsome .
But this Dheeraj seriously lacks the swag that Virat possess.
I would seriously prefer a T20 match over Karan Chhabria saying dialogues.
As for the couples, I would prefer Shraddha-Manit as the lead couple.
Dheeraj is too boring as the main lead
In his last outing as the legendary Prem Bhardwaj, he was often outshined by Manish Raisinghan, who had an even more stupid role of Siddhant Bhardwaj .
Now think what disaster he'll be in this show
