Yeah I always had this issue with SSR. He ended up writing misogynistic love stories with shoddily written female characters. Avantika sorta sealed my faith 😆 So glad to see that he has finally written a strong female character. And who better than Anushka to play that role.

Baahubali 2 - Goes Past 100 Cr On Day One

Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion has become the first film in history to cross the 100 crore nett mark on day one. The collections will come are likely to come in higher but the minimum estimates are below. These are likely to go up further tomorrow morning. The Hindi version is on course to set records in every Hindi belt circuit. The first day looks to be closing in the 35-40 crore nett range for the Hindi version. It is a non holiday record and in the morning it could end up being an all time record despite not releasing in 12-15% of the market. The film is blazing a trail in Nizam / Andhra but that was expected. Tamil Nadu is the weakest region but still will put huge numbers. The early breakdown is as follows.

Hindi Markets - 35,00,00,000 (includes all versions released in Mumbai, North, Central and Eastern India)

Nizam / Andhra - 45,00,00,000

Tamil Nadu - 14,00,00,000

Karnataka - 10,00,00,000

Kerala - 4,00,00,000

GRAND TOTAL - 1,08,00,00,000

Note - These are early figures andgenerally minimum nubers and it would be no surprise if the film eventually goes up to 115 crore or even 120 crore nett. The all languages are normally judged in GROSS and not NETT but that will be an even higher number which is just unthinkable.

I liked the way the women took over the reins from the men for sometime...best thing i've seen in an indian movie..especially a movie which is about two powerful brothers.
