Bigg Boss more important than dead mother?

Bigg Boss 10 was in for one of its most shocking days on Friday when one of its most famous contestants Manoj Punjabi aka Manu had to leave the house suddenly. Though the producers did not really give him the reason, it was because of the demise of his mother. Manu's mother Sujata Punjabi, who was staying with his elder brother Amar Punjabi in Jodhpur suffered a cardiac arrest and was brought dead to the hospital. She was in her 70s.

While the particular episode pertaining to Manu's exit is yet to be aired, outside sources confirmed that Manu, who reached Jodhpur on Saturday morning, performed the last rites of his mother there. Manu who was born in Jodhpur was brought up in Jaipur. He participated in Bigg Boss 10, which is hosted by actor Salman Khan, as a commoner.

We saw on Saturday night's episode that Salman Khan welcomed Manu's fiancee Priya Saini, along with Mona Lisa's boyfriend and Manveer Gurjar's bhabhi, as special guests. Considering the episode is telecast a day later, and Priya happened to be around when Manu had to leave the house, the two travelled back to Jodhpur together. Whether or not Manu will return to the show, has remained the biggest question ever since the sad news broke. According to JT, Priya was the one who informed the makers about the death.

"After shooting for Salman ki Sabha', I went back to the hotel. At around 12 in the night, I got to know about this news and that's when I asked the makers to allow Manu to come out of the house so that we both could be with his family in Jodhpur. It's a difficult time for us, especially for Manu, as he was extremely close to his mother," Priya said.

Last season of Bigg Boss saw actor-model Keith Sequeira leaving the house when his younger brother passed away. However, he returned to the show in a few weeks, to be with his girlfriend Rochelle Rao, who was also a participant. Now, will Manu come back too, or would he prefer to stay with his family at this time, is something every Bigg Boss viewer is desperate to know.

"Yes, he would be returning after few days," Priya confirmed.
