Ritesh said, "We too thought about postponing the release date but it was too late. Considering ours was a wide release, we would have suffered because of piracy, had we shifted the Indian release date since the piracy laws in India are not too stringent."
"The small number that has seen the film, loves it and it is sad that the collection is getting affected because of these hurdles (domentisation),"said Ritesh.
"We have introduced innovative ideas to encourage people to watch the film. For instance, PVR cinemas are not charging the convenience fees while booking tickets online, and another portal is offering 'buy one ,get one free' ticket," he added.
"We are hopeful that the footfall will increase in the weekdays when people start figuring out their personal issues of managing expenses," said the producer.
