@shalu - Thanks so much for sharing the contents of the original letters. They are so so beautiful and clearly seem to have brought them so much more closer. Loving how Fatma is pouring her heart out to Kerim. Also love how these letters are being seen by Kerim as a lifeline and make him so happy

@Lannister - Agree with you on how Fatmagul seems to be so much in love with Kerim. She may not have said those three words aloud as yet but her actions have been speaking louder than any words ever cld. And it's not just these letters, many of her past actions for quite some time have been clearly showing the extent to which she has fallen in love with him. No one can really doubt it any longer.

Reg yesterday's epi, someone said that after Asu came fwd with the truth, FG said Kerim will be released Aaj as in today... well, that's not correct at all as what she had actually said was Kerim cld now be released soon. She most certainly did not say he will be released 'today' imo. And her thinking so was perfectly logical from legal perspective too as with Asu's testimony its likely that Kerim wld get released on bail while the trial continues due to a clear benefit of doubt being created in his favor with no less than a witness coming fwd with a testimony indicating his innocence. Hence, wrong to say that she was being illogical etc imo. Even Kadir/Omer have been indicating the same.

As regards her saying that Asu might have been convinced by Musti to not back off.. again, while Mustafa had actually ended up testifying in her favor when it really mattered the most and that is in court, she had reasons to think Asu might not be too keen on testifying in favor of Kerim coz that woman had just given a false testimony against her and also it was not Asu but Mustafa who had called her saying Asu had told him abt Kerim being innocent etc. Let's be fair, given this backdrop, it was quite natural for her to think what she did. She cldnt have known Asu Musti's pvt tussle on this issue or how it was Asu who had actually been wanting to tell the truth

@sghosh: what are you saying chill for?😕 You are commenting on a fellow member's work integrity which is totally uncalled for and which you have absolutely no right at all do so.

Freedom of speech of everybody is respected here, but that does not mean you can just about comment anything about a fellow member. This is very much a serious matter. Regarding Sr Ilgaz, even if one cld understand his leaving coz his wife didn't love him or in his words ' hadn't even looked into his eyes once in 11 years, forget abt looking at him with love', there cld absolutely be no justification for his not returning for his son after his wife died. I mean, at least to me, that was just inexcusable. Curious to see how he'll try to justify that. My heart broke for scared lonely little Kerim anxiously waiting for his dad to come back for him. Poor kid! What must he have felt at being abandoned like that :((

And his dad saying he was going back the next day to Meriyam... what was that?? I mean his son refuses to meet him and rightly so and he just decides to pack his bags and go back leaving him at a time when he is languishing in jail?? Really??? And then he talks abt forgiveness and all that jazzz ://

A few months back when a handful of ppl here kept badly bashing Fatmagul for being harsh with Kerim at the beginning of their relationship and not reciprocating his romantic overtures etc (completely unmindful of her very justifiable reasons for the same at that time), some ppl (including me) had made some posts here elaborating why her stance towards him at that time was justified. These posts explained in detail that she reacted to him that way because at that time she did not know him as a person at all. She only saw him either as someone who had raped her or as a bad person who was present there on the fateful night but deliberately did not do anything to save her and then also took money to marry her so that she cld be shut up etc. That...from her perspective she was justified in not trusting him right away given all that had happened to her and his perceived involvement in the same. And this was proved right too as since then we have seen how Fatmagul's attitude towards Kerim changed as she gradually got to know him better as a person. Over time, as she realised what a wonderful human being he really is and how much he actually cares for her and loves her, disregarding his inaction that day to save her, she not only started trusting him but also fell in love with him and became fiercely protective of him too.

Anyways, my point in bringing this up now is that when such posts were made, there was an immediate backlash to them from some members here including @DefLeppard. After that for a long time I cldnt visit this forum due to some professional/personal life compulsions but when I did return a couple of weeks back and went thru the previous threads I was completely shocked. To my utter surprise, while those few members who had made sympathetic posts showing understanding for FG's psyche and mindset (given the horrific incident she had been thru), had not responded to the backlash at all and had chosen to either leave or go quiet, @DefLeppard continued to target them maliciously behind their backs for months on end. Looks like she just cldnt take her views being challenged openly like that and continued to carry a never ending grudge against them. Which is why from that time on she has been 'unceasingly' making fun of them calling them 'sanskaaris' (conveniently and deliberately misinterpreting and misrepresenting their views), taking cheap shots at them and insulting them implying they are dumb etc in almost every single post of hers since months. If that was not enough she has also been gloating abt how those ppl had been chased away from here. Wow!! Can't believe anyone can be so vengeful over something as innocuous as a difference of opinion. It's shocking and disgraceful.

Still I didn't say anything on this for weeks but cldnt stop myself from reacting to it today when I saw someone saying freedom of expression doesn't mean one can make fun of fellow members etc and showed the IF rule book to the person who had supposedly (and ironically) made fun of something related to @DefLeppard. Cldnt help but laugh at this hypocrisy lol. Wonder why this was not said to Ms. @DefLeppard when she vengefully kept targeting certain members here in almost every single post of hers for months. Why didn't anyone ever tell her that her continued cheap potshots at some fellow members here were quite distasteful and had gone on for far too long and that she needed to stop this resentful, nasty onslaught. Looks like she can unabashedly make fun of ppl and insult them at will in the garb of wit and humor but no one can say anything to her. Wow! And @DefLeppard - Who gave you the right to constantly make fun of a group of fellow members here in your posts? Who do you think you are to do so? What makes you think you can have fun at the expense of others? You can call yourself anything you want but you have no business making fun of other members here, calling them names or constantly taunting them. It is extremely petty, shameful and vindictive to keep targeting a group of ppl for months on end just because they once posted views that happened to challenge yours. Being witty and humorous is fine but it's NOT FINE to insult ppl or make fun of them in the garb of wit and humor! There is a diff between genuine humor and cheap offensive bad taste humor that you have been using to insult and put down some members here. The way u have been taking veiled or direct potshots at ppl thru your remarks laced with venomous sarcasm is just NOT DONE. Granted, u have been smart enough to not use cuss words against ppl knowing the same could get you reported but that doesn't make your unprovoked nasty taunts at ppl in the garb of humor right. You may be used to sycophancy or ppl not having the courage to call you out on your distasteful comments against fellow members or maybe they aren't bothered just coz it doesn't concern them... whatever it may be... but that doesn't mean you have the licence to carry on doing so. Remember, everyone will not agree with you all the time... that there will be times when your views will get challenged or differing views will be presented but that doesn't mean you can go on an endless insulting spree of such ppl. It's juvenile to do so besides being unacceptable. Debate ppl out respectfully based on logic if you can or ignore them instead of childishly cracking insulting jokes at them/making fun of them. Learn to put matters to rest in a dignified way as all those ppl did instead of carrying petty grudges with you forever and launching a never ending vendetta against ppl thru your constant veiled or direct attacks at them cloaked in cheesy offensive bad taste humor

@bold agree with u. May be not right away but atleast within a year or two he should ve come back. I think maker did this to give us Kerim's story now...may be they wanted to balance out betwn Female Lead n Male Lead pain n past...

I also wonder about Kerim's mom behaviour... after so many years of marriage she couldnt forget her first love...even not after having a child...the joy of child too couldnt takeaway her sadness

Please do not twist my words...check my post properly and then comment...If you'll had a problem with DefLeppard's posts, you'll should've reported them or taken up the issue then and there...why did you wait for months and months 😕

As for me bringing up the rule book now, I felt enough is enough. Just a couple of weeks back MohabbatGirl was targetted by somebody in another thread. And I have reported those too FYI. And just recently SaraFatma. Making harsh personal comments is just not done. Please maintain the decorum of the forum and dont go all preachy. Is that too much to ask?

It's actually you who needs to practice what you are preaching lady. I have no issues with your reporting certain comments that you thought were offensive to some of your friends. My point was, the same standards should be applied when one of those very friends too makes offensive, insulting comments against fellow members here. It's unfair to express outrage or preach civility only to ppl who are not one's friends while turning a blind eye when a similar offence is committed by a friend, is all I said to you. Other than this, I have no beef with you really,

My main issue was with the acidic/caustic/derogatory remarks being made by the concerned person mentioned above in the name of humor against a group of ppl here in almost every single post of hers. And this has been continuing till this very date. I agree with your saying 'enough is enough' with regards to such behaviour... but by 'anyone' regardless of who they are or who they think themselves to be. Maintaining the decorum of the forum is the responsibility of each and every single member here. Nobody should think they have some kind of privilege to insult/make fun of anyone here. Period. As regards to why this was not commented upon earlier, kindly read my earlier post carefully again and you will get the reason for the same. Moreover, the timing shld not matter in this case as those insults are not a thing of the past and have been continuing in the present too.
