Viji my dearest sis,
As the previous two chapters made a amazingly vivid portrayal on Sanskar Maheshwari, this one leaves nothing lacking in the perfect picture it offers on his better half. I'm just glad you decided to begin at the beginning the childhood, most of children would be wary of, still full of tiny moments or fragments of tiny moments where sunshine had been dazzlingly bright.
I really admire this part of Shomi, she did do her best to be the only parent in her kid daughter's life, and had done well, to raise her as the strong willed and angelic human being she has become. But even she would not be able to shield the poor thing from every storm, and some are bound to leave scars.
I distinctly remember you touching upon this particular string of Swara's life in Colours of Love I guess? Where she reflects on the same points of her past life and gradually comes in terms with the feelings she's feeling for Sanskar? Here she already knows he is the counter part that fills all the gaps in her rather irregular life and is irrevocably in love with him. Still the reason why she almost worships him comes from the way he had given her something she had craved all her life for...genuine and unwavering love. A shade to run in to in any storm and a promise of forever. I can imagine what it might mean to someone with Swara's background and especially with Shekar Gadodia as their father. It just came out in a way that almost left me teary. God, such brilliant wording of emotions!⭐️
Then Sanskar the confused.
Huh, he would try all he wants but he can't deny that she affects him. Stealing glance and justifying it to himself by saying that his eyes have a mind of their own...that was so very Sanskarish😆😳 Swara confessing their sleeping arrangements had me in a fit of laughter, I'm sure whatever Sanskar expected her to say...it was not that! I can almost imagine his look at this point and Swara's blush too.
Okay, she is beautiful now is she Sanskar?😉 I just wish you would soon apply your mind and realize you don't have a bullet wound because she did not shoot you. But even in his doubtful state of mind, he cares a lot for her and the love deep within him is evident. This part was so subtly constructed, yet works like magic on the entire plot. The scene is so vivid as I said above you can almost see, these two, stealing glances and blushing or blurting out more than they wanted to say. A real SwaSan heaven.
Ragini and Lakshya part. I usually skip them in fics I confess...not in yours but in all the others. Even my own ones I never proofread those paras😆😳 But this one was so masterful in a way. Not only did it grant a vision in to Ragini, but paved away for her possible complete redemption too. The way you brought out her thoughts, realizations and resolves, it felt almost like reading Ragini's mind. By Ragini I mean the one before they whitewashed her. It is too good dearest that I felt like cheering her on this time.
Now, it's done and I'm feeling nostalgic all of a sudden. This would finish in an update or two right? It makes me feel kind of empty to think that. But the excitement is too large to fight with. Do update soonest possible.
Loads of love,
Saku
