Just because Karishma is an actress, it doesn't mean we should absolve her of all blame. Babita may make suggestions as all mothers do, but Karishma is a woman in her 40s. She wouldn't take advice she doesn't agree with. Clearly it's Karishma who is the goldigger, Babita doesn't come in play here. What Babita does/say is another story. I'm not saying Sanjay is a saint but Karishma isn't any better. We can't paint Karishma as a naive innocent angel who got influenced by her evil mother and hurt by her evil husband. I think her contribution is much more. For the sake of her children, she should make an agreement with Sanjay to stop the mudslinging. There are so many women who are affected by dowry and if Karishma is misusing it, she's a terrible human being. As of now, she just appears as a selfish bad mother.

Edit to add: If I were Karishma, I'd just get a divorce even if it means not getting financial support from my husband. From what I've read, Karishma wanted to hold off the divorce because she wasn't getting a good amount as alimony. Karishma is wealthy enough to provide for herself. Money is not worth ruining your children. They must be traumatized by all these accusations.

Both are lying through the teeth to get what they want. I understand when two people stop loving each other and want to divorce , but I can't understand how two people who are parents want to put their kids through this misery for some money. This is getting super ugly, and I blame both the parents for not able to come to compromise.

these people going so low for money?? Its not like karisma or Sanjay r in dire need of money..both of them r so filthy rich..

Its their ego and immaturity..sanjay may be a douche..but dowry? And he wants to legally separate since long..even has a steady girlfriend..why would he hold up a divorce just coz he doesn't want to pay enough alimony?

Parting with his money would be a better option than going through this trauma..specially for kids..they r making things so messy for kids..

And now this dowry allegation after so many yrs of filing a case..just looks like she wants to put him down..all about having n upper hand

If this dowry allegation is false and is being made only to support Karisma's case, then it is really f**king disgusting. And with these kind of reports coming out in media so often, their poor kids might have a difficult time in society as well as in their own heads. Those kids will have to live with the negative feeling of the kind of bad people they have as their parents. It can really break a poor child's esteem when they feel that their parents can be such cheap people.

I believe Sunjay has been providing child support. Karisma has enough money of her own, why does she wants more money from a man she doesn't even loves? I think Karisma had expected that since Sunjay had been through one divorce already, he would probably not want another one and then they can just live seperately while still being legally married to him. That was how her own parents lived all these years. She probably didn't expect Sunjay to start seriously dating Priya Sachdev and wanting to divorce Karisma to marry Priya.

Karisma just wanted to have kids, live in Mumbai with her mother, still be married to Sunjay while Sunjay provides all financial support for her, her kids, her mother for a lifetime of luxurious life. There is no other way that this divorce proceedings could have extended for sooo many years now. And now when Sunjay wants a divorce, she just wants to milk him for all the alimony possible so that she can have get a huge amount to make her life easy for a lifetime, even if that means that she has to ruin his reputation everywhere. This is really a sick thing to do. Who knows, what negative crap she must be feeding her kids against their father in their personal lives. She is being her mother's true daughter. Such sad thing to do. What will she do with all this money when she doesn't even looks happy or healthy anymore. She looks like a skeleton in the name of trying to eat healthy.

There is a report in the Indian Express in which Karisma's lawyer has said that the case has been filed for physical and mental harassment, not dowry harassment.
