Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur's divorce case has been going on in the court since a long time and while the case has attracted a lot of controversy, it seems it is set to turn more ugly for both the parties. Both the parties have been making allegation on each other, but this latest allegation is a serious issue. The actress has filed an FIR against Sunjay and his mother Rani Sunder Kapur claiming that they mentally harassed her from time to time for dowry.

According to a report in a leading daily, the Khar police have registered an FIR filed by Karisma in which she alleged that she was mentally harassed by her hubby for money. Dowry is banned in Indian and is a serious offence. If found guilty, Sunjay might be punished severely too. This is contrasting to the statement made by Sunjay, where he claimed that Karishma married him for money. The actress' father, Randhir Kapoor had rubbished those claims by suggesting that the Kapoors were self sufficient and so, this dowry case comes as a shock to everybody including us.

The divorce case had turned controversial when the actress withdrew the consent for mutual custody of their kids after claiming that Sunjay had failed to meet certain financial commitments set in the consent terms. Recently, a report also indicated that Sunjay has been receiving death threats from underworld don Ravi Pujara and so, he was filed an application at the Supreme Court seeking a transfer of the case to New Delhi. With the next hearing is set to take place on March 3 and we are sure sparks are set to fly when the revolting couple meet.
