But I do believe Sobti is just as good & if anything, has a slightly wider range than Fawad. But Sobti doesn't hold a candle to Fawad's career choices & his grooming. But Pak tv actors do have a lot more creatively satisfying options than good old rubbish Indian tv does.
3. Dry Dreams was beyond lame. It was so lame, I didn't even have to heart to get pissed off. It was just sad. MAMR-Frankly, nothing about it is critically acclaimed, Smitakshi. Sobti's acting was appreciated by the few critics who watched & reviewed the movie. But we all know he is a good actor. And, in the big picture, it doesn't matter whether he alone was good because nothing else about that movie was anywhere near good. So, it was just Sobti being a competent actor. Critically acclaimed performance would be sort of pushing it.
4. I honestly hope this new BBC/ZeeTV show is worth watching & a project worthy of all that acting talent which we haven't been able to watch in the past 3yrs.

@ archana: Very well said!! But I don't agree about KSG, can't stand him, but to be fair, I haven't seen his any other work besides QH. I felt he was over rated while watching that show and always wondered why was he Gul's favourite actor?! Correct me if I am wrong, but she wanted KSG for ASR's role in IPK. He was her first choice and thank God he refused!! I think Mahira is very talented and I loved her in Humsafar! She is very funny and sanaya like in real life, so for her to do something so serious in Humsafar was azmaing. That shows her strength as an actor.

Yes, Barun just needs a good script and a director to fully showcase his skills, and I guess he is just very laid back in real life, so couldn't care less about he how looks in public. Even Sanaya says that about him. Fawad too was like that, but after Humsafar, he became more conscious and started appearing more groomed. Hopefully this new tv show will help him get noticed by talented film makers and he won't rush off to sign off the very first film coming his way, which is what he did with MAMR. He is very choosy with TV, so hopefully same approach for films as well.

But there are 5 chapters left for that to get over! 😭😭 But okay, you're the writer. We will go according to how you want it!

Which reminds me, I am due on comments for this story as well as WAYMR. I will do both tonight.

I'm kind of done with my syllabus. Just a few poems that I have never done in the whole year needs to be done now as well as revision of all the formats. So I hope to get that out of my way in another 2 hours or so and then shift to doing papers! I'm having small panic attacks in my head now because everyone is studying so much while I'm just sitting here and doing nothing! I just hope this doesn't cost me during the exam!
