Yayyy
I am first

Btw, just curious, are you abida parween fan? I like few of tracks so much!!!😃

Part 1 is just amazing. How I wish CVs would have shown this instead the crap drama they are showing or planning on showing us

Your update was all Sanskaar centric!!! How he makes Ragini realize where she has come to with her nonsense reason of revenge and delusions of love!!!

The explanation given by Sanskaar is amazing.. amazing..

And Sanskaar baby is still upset with biwiji? Ahhh, gave my sadist heart some great pleasure😆 😆 😆

The slow realization dawning through Ragini of what she has done is amazing. How I wish I could one day write and weave those words in such a beautiful manner.

That is why I take a seat back and just read rather than writing. Coz, I know I cannot write it so beautifully.

Cannot wait for the next update. And cannot wait to know how Swara would manofy pati ji😆

Yayyy! Finally your TS is here! What a Part 1- of course as its from you, it had to be good. I am loving the musical theme. My mum is a classical music student too, I stuck only to the classical dance but as part of that obviously have some affinity to/ understanding of to the music too. I am thrilled you explored Ragini and that too so well in this Vij! I have always found her fascinating as you know and in this work, a very "real" Ragini comes across and then her consequent madness is somehow understandable. A whole process we always lack in the show. The descriptions of the music and the Radha-Krishna song took me straight back to my Kathak lessons and reminded me of learning the todas and one of my favourite "gatts" was a Radha-themed one in this Raag I am sure!
What I particularly loved too was the Sanskaar- Ragini equation. As you know, I am so anxious to see this back and have always had a real soft spot for these frenemies. Sanskaar was so amazing as usual- he understood but still made his stand clear but with tolerance and giving her a way, not stupidly reacting like some would have!
Overall, great start and really anxious to read the rest! Mmmwaah and love always xxx

Viji,
Can you please write a book? Like a book that I can go to a bookshop and buy and make it a part of my collection? We really have a dearth of fabulous Indian writers and you need to publish to make us Indians proud. Please. Believe me, I will help you promote it whenever you take this seriously. Like seriously! 😳

Let me start with the title, Music of the Soul: Agony and the Ecstasy. What a beautiful title. Love it! You always have me an awe with the titles of your FFs! So here goes the first round of applause. 👏 👏

I loved how you showed the difference in the way of love that Sanskaar has for Swara and Ragini has for Laksh. It was well described! 👏 👏

I will not detail this response, but I loved the beautiful interaction between Sanskaar and Ragini. Oh Viji, I wish I can tell you how much I want Sanskaar and Ragini to interact - like enemies or friends - just interact. Sanskaar started this journey of revenge and involved Ragini in it but I always feel that not Swara, not Laksh but only Sanskaar can be the one who can help Ragini in her path to redemption. I love how this whole first part is Sanskaar and Ragini centric. These are my two favorite characters in the show and I love them the most here too. Sanskaar and Ragini's conversation, I read it twice because it was so brilliant. 👏 👏 Ragini is a complicated character and you have portrayed her so well. I wish her redemption was as beautiful as you have portrayed. 😳

The whole theme of the TS, the theme of Raag Yaman Kalyan. I remember my Grandfather talk about this raag ( he was a great singer!) and I saw it fit for the first part. I liked how Ragini looked at the three people who probably mean the most to her. Laksh - her first love, Swara - her beloved sister and Sanskaar - her best friend. Her sudden desire to not want to harm either of these people was beautifully portrayed. Loved it!

Cannot wait for Part 2!

Cheers!

Anna

P.S : Do you have training in classical music? The knowledge of Raaga's as I have understood from my grandfather is very hard to retain. I have learnt a few Raagas from him and I have heard him sing Raaga Todi and Raaga Bhairav personally, so I am definitely waiting for the next one.

I reached the end of part 1 and then realized that parts 2 & 3 are not updated yet!😭🥺
Part 1 was brilliant and your characterisation of Ragini was beautiful. It seems like she doesn't want be the vamp in SwaSan's lives anymore! Hopefully she will take up Sanskaar's offer and comes clean infront of their families!
It was great the way you described and differentiated the ways Ragini and Sanskaar love their respective spouses! I felt quite sad for Ragini actually...
How is it that Swara still doesn't realize that she loves her husband? That longing she felt while listening to Ragini's performance didn't clue her in? And how adorable is Sanskaar? He is giving Swara the cold shoulder but at the same time is keeping an eye on her!
I loved it when he told Ragini that she is still his enemy today if she is against Swara. I can't believe that Swara doesn't realise how lucky she is! I am hoping that in the next 2 parts she will become aware of her emotions and woos Sanskaar the way he deserves!
Very eagerly waiting to read the next 2 parts!

Unreserving...

Viji... 🤗First of all extremely sorry for such a late response. Things kept me away from completely reading the story until today. I have to say ..this is one of the most beautiful story you have written. You keep getting better and better with each story such that I find myself short of right words to describe how I feel reading them. One thing which I can describe is I got speechless for first few minutes after reading.. and that happened with this too... Dude... you leave me in awe always. This story was woven amazingly... Loved the depth and how you included ragas and wrote three parts based on them.
Part 1: The way you wrote Ragini is amazing. Your words showed the transformation of Ragini from an angel to the person possessed with Satan soul so amazingly. And lets not forget the difference between love of Sanskaar and Ragini towards their respective better halves. Then my most favorite part in this installment... The talk between Sanskaar and Ragini... Seriously Viji.. I would love to see this kind of frenemy interaction on show too. I am damn sure... if Ragini ever genuinely wants to repent... It will be Sanskaar who can understand her the most and show her correct path. Swara can be there for Ragini but she will not understand the guilt which Ragini will feel... IF SHE EVER repents...Though chances seems so low of that happening... Coming back to the TS itself, loved the way how Sanskaar countered every action and words of Ragini. He was not overly hostile but neither was he mellowed about his stance towards her. You wrote that part so amazingly. Other thing I loved in this part is how slowly you awakened the little part of old Ragini once again... I am saying this for all parts .. the gradual steps of Ragini from that vindictive person towards her redemption is portrayed amazingly😳😳Her realization... the gradual return of that soft heart she used have... those feelings she had for her sister... Just amazing.👏 The Ragini on show should be like this but alas we have gotten Satan herself there. The Raga you used here... telling you the truth... I had no idea about ragas and all but being a curious one...First I researched about all 3 ragas and then I read this TS. I still dont have much knowledge but I do tried understand now the mood behind these raga (I hope I succeeded to grasp right thing..correct me if I am wrong) From what i read this raga is taught to people first because of its simple structure... yet very few can master it to the T. I will quote the line I read about it : "Its simplicity is deceptive" And no other line can describe Ragini's character better than this line. I heard few pieces too.. and really they were calm yet ..I there was a haunting note in them. Just like you described Ragini... 😳
