forgery and domestic violence...
Rajesh Mapuskar who gave us an adorable
father-son story with Ferrari ki Sawaari and
assisted in Munnabhai series and 3 Idiots is in
a big soup. His wife Nisha has slapped a case
of forgery under Indian Penal Code Act 465,
468 and 471 and domestic violence under IPC
Act 498 A. The filmmaker has thus been
arrested at 11 pm Tuesday night and taken to
Dindoshi Police Station.
Senior police inspector, Avinash Sawant of the
Dindoshi Police Station told a daily, "Rajesh
Mapuskar has been arrested, produced before
the court and remanded into judicial custody."
According to Nisha, she has no money to pay
the maintenance and other bills of their
Goregaon apartment where she stays with her
two sons since Rajesh hasn't paid any.
However, he has been paying a rent of Rs
65,000 every month towards his Oberoi Woods
flat that he has rented. That's not all. The
daily also reports that she was forced to go to
a mental hospital for three months when
Rajesh claimed she is suicidal. Nisha even
accused Rajesh of having an extra marital
affair with Maheep Dhillon, the wife of Anil
Naidu, President, Lintas Productions, who
assisted him on Ferrari Ki Sawaari , when she
was sedated. Apparently, he forged her
signature and got her admitted to Masina
Hospital for metal health treatment. She also
went on to narrate that she was given 15
shocks instead of the standard 12 shocks and
Dr. Machiswala even gave statements
regarding her mental state calling her
unstable. That was breach of doctor-patient
confidentiality contract, added Nisha.
Nisha is already fighting her divorce case and
an ugly custody battle as her kids apparently
don't want to stay with their father and the
other woman. She also added that she was a
high society girl who gave away the riches for
love and shifted into a chawl with him. They
were living off on his humble income. She and
her kids relied on the gold she got from home
