In the dudes response to Appa you find II anxious ready to go away avoiding confrontation and it is the dude that stays showing nothing matters more than his II. When it comes to Chachu and Manny II wants their acceptance and approval she cannot turn a blind eye to the way they treat her. She wants her marriage to last. The effort the dude has gone into to pick the bookmarks reflecting his intent when acted out will reassure his II.

She has no mug or childhood memories to voice her sway their sizzling chemistry can't be discussed in public what she needs is her dude to tell her what she means. He will not speak. Sam has revealed how dad was ready to give up chicken and lamb and we know the reason. She hates the smell of egg cooking in her present state. The dude cannot make it in the kitchen he has to find a way to balance a demanding wife and sister they are like the mistrust between a new bride and

II is new to this relationship dynamic. Like any young bride, she has this urge to feel special. and  here more so, especially when she has married outside caste and almost without consent. On top of this, she chose a man who has had several relationships in the past, doesn't hold his heart on his sleeve, is secretive and is still hurting from the loss of his mom. She treats Ranjan and Sam with so much more warmth because they went out of their way to make her feel welcome and have helped her each step of the way to make her a prt of the Bhalla  clan. What has manny done??? Zilch! It's II who has left her own comfort zone to come to a brand new home which has a completely  different  lifestyle, shouldn't she be made to feel comfortable? As the daughter of the house, manny should be the one reaching out and that would be the right thing to do.  But no, manny is so wrapped up in her own issues that neither does she have the time, nor the intention to do so, instead she makes a conscious effort to make her feel like an outsider. And therefore if she resents manny and her closeness with the dude,-  BTW she is here only because of him- She is justified in doing so. And vaise bhi she only throws a tantrum in front of HIm and not her or Ranjan.
