The man is still grieving for his late wife and would want nothing more than to be left alone with her memories.. He probably would have been left alone had he not been a king. He was pressurized to marry a commoner, someone who he thinks is a social climber and not an innocent party in the deal.

He knows that had to marry her for the sake of the kingdom but he feels he is being unfaithful to his late wife by doing so..his duty as king trumping over his loyalty to his late wife..which probably makes him hate himself and the people who pressurized him.

its almost like he has decided he is going to be a snob to Gayatri..that is his way of retaliating to the marriage, however wrong it might be.

whatever goodness he might have seen in Gayatri, he just ignores it..because it helps him to dislike the whole idea of marriage and her and continue being loyal to his late wife

Its going to be a tussle in his mind in coming days, as long as it isnt abusive, it should be good to watch

yes they can cut down flashbacks and pining a bit but I think it does explain his current behaviour..

the guy loved his late wife and hence is find it difficult to move on

I think the character is quite layered as opposed to straight forward ones which is something I like

just needs little polishing

Lets see how the character of the king is formed...

what i'm finding repetitive is the crying in the room for his wife and vows to her which the CVs have done several times now, hopefully this will wean now and they will just show him pulling faces only.

For those who like grey characters, I guess it might be interesting.

i do enjoy some of scene of LakshyaRaj and chacha scene over him 😛
