Awesome post agree with u & it will surely take some time for both Raja & Rani too accept the truth of the marriage that it might be a deal but they hv to adjust with the situation...& at least be friends & give each other a chanceI like this snobbish & ignorant Ranaji as long as he isn't violent or abusive
Ranaji might not be violent in the physical sense but I feel for sure he is abusive in conduct towards Gayatri (so far, have not seen him abusing his powers with anyone else...)...Gayatri is in her dream world of love...she is wearing rose tinted glasses. So, she can't see the arrogance in his conduct... There has been many instances when he has been a gentleman...the shawl scene, the scene when she hurts her feet but then he clarifies it by saying he would have done so, for anyone...maybe, maybe not but that does not allow him not to complete the sindoor ceremony; he knows the importance of the ritual, not when he throws the napkin on the table aggressively, not the words used in the aftermath of the meals debacle... For me, that abusive; subtlety but still abusive
I guess they will show him regretting it in the future but by then, we the fans, would feel nausea with the going-on. One thing is for sure, he is shown in good light when he is dealing with his Sister-in-law, Badi mani, Rajmata, his praja...some compensations...
