Chapter 1:
Armaan fought hard but he couldn't stop the yawn. Damn. Not his fault at all. Just he couldn't sleep last night. Each time he closed his eyes Sakshi's face came in front of him. He looked around him. He along with his brother, father and uncle gathered in the office for a board meeting.
Rudra Sing Pratap: Bhai mujhe abhi bhi nehi lagta ki hame Rukmini Devi ke sath hamari business marge karna chahye.
Dhwan Sing Pratap: Main samajh sakta hoom ki tum kya soch rahe ho. Par hame company ke bade mein bhi sochna hai. Ranawat's hamare sabse bade rival hai. Iss rivalry ke waja se peechle kuch salo mein ham dono ki bohot ruksan hua hai. Iss dushmani ke beech dusre company's fayda lut rahe hai.
Dev: To kab ayenge yeh Rukmini Devi?
Dhwana checked his watch.
Dhawan: Waqt ho chukka hai. Woh apne dono bete aur lawyer ke sath ate hi honge.
At this announcement Armaan sat up straight.
Armaan: Unke sath unke bete bhi aa rahe hai.
Dhwan gave him a look.
Dhwan: Haan. Aur yeh bat main aabtak lekar das bar keh chukka hoom. Dhyan kaha hai aaj tumhara?
Armaan: Woh ek case ko lekar thoda pareshan hoom. Yaha meeting khatam karke jaldi headquarter jana hai.
Dhwan had something more to say to his son but he stopped. Rukmini Devi choose to enter at the same time. She entered the room along with her two sons, a beautiful girl and a guy with specs.
She joined her palm in greeting. Dhwan and other stood up and joined their palm.
Dhwan: Welcome. Hame bohot khushi hhui ki aap at last iss deal ke lye raji ho hi gyi.
Rukmini Devi smiled a cold smile.
Rukmini: Diwar pe peeth aa gya hai. Deal to karni hi hai. By the way they are my sons Arjun and Parth. Yeh hai Arjun ki secretary Ayesha Sareen. Aur yeh hai hamara lawyer Mr. Shreekant Dasgupta.
Dhwan murmured a light hello. Then he introduce them with his family.
Dhwan: Yeh hai mera chota bhai Rudra Sing Pratap. Aur yeh dono mere bete Dev aur Armaan.
Though Armaa tried to concentrate on the deal but whole time a certain Arjun Ranawat held his attention. Well build muscular body, toned skin with a pleasant face and a hard set of square eyes. Those eyes held so much coldness and arrogance that it left Armaan baffled. What was Sakshi doing with them? Or with him?
But the opportunity came to him.
Rukmini Devi: Aab yeh deal sign ho gya hai to haam partners' hue. Saturday maine ek party through kiya hai. Arjun aur Parth ke business join karne ke khushi mein. 6 pm party suru hone wala hai. Aap apne puri family ke sath jarur ayenge.
Dhwan: Sure will.
After bidding a quick bye they left.
The week was passing at the speed of a snail. Armaan couldn't wait to go to the party. Curiosity was burning inside him like molten lava. One day they were working on a case when Rudra called them in the conference room.
Rudra: Team. I know you guys are working very hard. We will have to work harder. Hame aaj shames pehle yeh case solve karna hai. Maine aaplogoko yaha ek khas insan se milne ke lye bulaya. Woh pehle Mumbai ETF mein the as their chief. Please welcome Sameer Damn Sing Rathod. Our new second in command.
A wave of murmur passed through the team. A man in his late twenties joined them. He was well-built peroan with hard feature but does possess a charming smile. He also have a rajputana mustache. It was actually nice to work with him. But soon Armaan found the odds. Most of the time he discovered their new second in command in the record room going through old files. Why on earth he would be interested in old files? A nagging suspicion took place in the back of Armaan's mind but he choose to ignore. For mow.
At last the day of the party arrived. At evening Rudra being the chief of ETF called it a day and came back home. They got ready and with the rest of the family member they went to the party. It was quite astonishing that Ranawat house and Sing Pratap house were separated with just one wall. That means all this time Sakshi lived so close to him! He told his family member about Sakshi long back. And to his utter disbelieve his family took Sakshi's side. They liked that sweet, innocent girl long back. Today before going to Ranawat house Armaan explained everything to his family.
When they reached Ranawat house the party was going in full swing. Arjun and Parth were welcoming the guests. Rukmini Devi was talking to some guests. Seeing them she came forward and escort them inside. Then their eyes fall on Sakshi. She was wearing a yellow sleeveless butterfly slid floor dress. Her hair was gathered on one side of her shoulder. With designer jewelry and make up she was looking like a diva. It took every ounce of Armaan's energy to keep his jaw from touching the floor.
Sakshi's dress-
Rukmini Devi was talking to someone when another woman came in. Rukmini Devi greeted her and introduced her with Arjun, Parth and Sakshi.
Woman: Are Rukmini ji! Ek servant ke sath aap meri introduce kiyu karwa rahi hai? Akhir Sakshi hai to ek noukrani na!
Everybody stopped at their track. Rukmini Devi smiled a cold smile and placed a hand on that woman's shoulder. That woman flinched.
Rukmini: Sakshi hamari gharki beti hai. Usske bade mein koi bhi ulta seedha kuch kahe yeh hame pasand nehi. Agese sambhal lijyega.
When she let go her shoulder everyone noticed the angry red mark on that spot. Party started again eventually they forgot the incident. The whole time Armaan tried to talk with Sakshi but it looked like she was avoiding him or his family intentionally. When the party ended Parth volunteered to escort them to their home since it was only next door. When Arjun was the vessel of arrogance Parth seemed quite easy looking guy so they agreed.
Armaan: So, Parth yeh batao yeh Sakshi hai koun? Rukmini ji ne usse thikse introduce nehi karwaya.
Parth: Actually Sakshi hamari kuch nehi lagti. Aaplogo ko to pata hai ki haam London mein bade hue hai. Aaj se pach saal pehle jab haam last India aye tab haam Rakhapur gye the. Wahi ek nadi ke kinare Sakshi bhai ko behish mili. She had been violated badly. Bhai ne usse apne sath Mumbai laya aur treatment karwaya. Usski iss dunya mein aur koi nehi thi. In fact woh bhai ko chodke kahi janeki lye na tab tayar thin a aab tayar hai. As bhai ne usski jindegi bachya hai to Sakshi yeh manti hai agar puri jindegi woh bhai ki seva kare to hi woh apne yeh karj chukka payegi. Usski word hai meri nehi. Bhai ne samjhane ki bohot koushish ki par woh nehi mani. Aur hamne usse haamre sath London le gye.
Dhawan: Aur Rukmini Devi insab ke lye kaise mani?
Parth smiled a strange smile.
Parth: Mom.. Woh apne beto ke lye kuch bhi kar sakti hai. Kisi bhi hath tak ja sakti hai. Kisi bhi hath tak.
A shiver ran down to them. Armaan had a feeling Parth is hiding something. But what can be more dreadful than this? Is Arjun forcing Sakshi to sleep with him? Or it is Rukmini Devi who is forcing Sakshi to serve Arjun? So many question but no answer.
