90s song Pari hoon main about child abuse? - Page 2

It does seem to be a song on child abuse. At one point when the teacher is trying to show the student the "sky" through the telescope, that scene is rushed through and then Sunita Rao throws away the telescope.

In some scenes the girl looks infatuated and watches him secretly. The teacher also stares at her while she is dancing happily in the rain. Maybe the girl is scared too owing to her young age and subconsciously also knows that this is socially and morally unacceptable. I could sense some sexual tension in some scenes.

When she smiles at him from the staires is confusing. If I look at the bigger picture and the lyrics, it means that don't violate my space, I am just a child.

But yes there is the pushing the telescope bit and the teacher looking at her dancing in the rain..and the last bit where he almost touches her shoulder but then does not because she gives him a look;imo that look can be interpreted as "I now realize what you did,I know better and don't you do it again" or "you don't feel for me like I do for you,no need of sympathy"...

But then in present, the pushing of telescope, na na mujhe na choona kind of imply that the teacher might have taken advantage of her infatuation. The part where he looks at her when she is getting drenched is pretty awkward, for sure.If the song is just about innocent infatuation, I don't think they would have added the rain part.

But then again, the laughter and smiles are confusing.

That's how I looked at it. It does have the undertone of child abuse especially the way he was looking at her in the rain. Damn, one of my favorite songs of mine has been ruined.
