The funny part, the makers used it as OST, whereas it is inspired from an indian song. No credits given I suppose and there was a heated debate on this in this very forum. Tujhe kuch yaad nahi?

Yeah the makers bought rights to it but didnt give any credit to the original. I myself had big arguments on youtube with ppl. 😆

Disha I have seen alvida OST thanks to Hiral and heard that whole PSF drools on this new fav. By the looks of OST, I could not get anything likeable though. May be as you are saying I need to watch the show. So for your sake, will give it a try. His voice is the most attractive aspect I suppose, even Hiral was gushing over that.

You seem to be watching only Imran Abbas shows these days. Any change in opinion regarding the hit star of pak tv? He seems to be ruling the charts there with back to back shows.

Between pyare afzal has some odd 40 episodes in its original running, so if zindagi is airing it as half an hour show, it would be 80 days telecast. I do not have that much patience and regularity catching a pak show or for that matter any fictional content anymore. It bores me after a certain time.

Alvida is pretty much first 30 days of any balaji show. U know like the best bits of balaji?

It has no social message or hidden meaning. Its pretty much what it looks like. 😆 I myself watched the 1st episode with no plans of continuing,but its addictive 😆 I finished 14 epis in one night I think (dont do that unless u want dark circles as dark as mine. -_-)

But the best part for me started when Zahid entered. He gave a whole new angle to the show. His voice is one of the best things,but his acting is pretty good too. He's one of those actors whose acting makes them attractive,u know what I mean?

Since I mentioned ekta,it has all kekta type twists and turns. Shaadi ke baad shaadi,adla badli romance. Lol.

But its entertaining. 😆

Imran Abbas 😆 I still havent forgotten his 'statements' about Indian women. But he's good onscreen. Bearable. I like his pairing with Sanam Jung 😆

ANother show Im watching of his is Mera Naam Yousuf hai. This show has a good writer. Very nice dialogues. But the love story is fairytale-ish. He's better in this show I feel.

He's coming in another bolly film 🤣 some periodic film whole actress is *wait for it* Sonam Kapoor's designer. Some Pernia Qureshi.

P.S : Hamza is yet another of these jokers I heard.

@everyone : I finally saw Hamza's facebook feed. Saashtang namaskaar to this man. 😳

40 episodes really? I was told it was long,but dinno this long. But oye writer achcha hai.

Khalil ur Rehman something. Im watching mera naam yousuf hai which he has written. Dialogues badiya hain.

Disha I know Imran Abbas is coming in another film, kolkata telegraph reported that with an exclusive interview of miss pernia qureshi. It is directed by the same director of old Umrao jaan. I dont know about the film but the poster looks lame and both actor look bad. He should stick to his industey I guess as their home audience otherwise get miffed why their actors are working in ballywoood, a substandard place for their calibers. Woh bhi khush, aur hum bhi. 😆

I can gauge the story of alvida from ost, it has psycho sara of humsafar too nahi? Playing positive, mujhe bishwas nahi huya. 🤣 ab woh psychotic nahi hai toh yeh banda psycho hai show me shayad. Chalo let me watch his psycho giri. Do not have the intention of watching the full show though, have detached myself from these content. Will let you know my opinion.

Oh about hamza, I have no opinions whatsoever. Actually Dastaan thread fiasco and subsequent events on IF and constant disrespect towards Indian content by few without much knowledge to impose superiority put me off very badly. Thus I have decided that I am off from watching anything new from that industry. They are very good, very capable, let their coutrymen enjoy that. Not my cup of tea anymore. So dont care anymore about the shows or their talent. Unfortunately still stuck with my liking for Fawad though.

That is not the best approach but totally understandable because I myself went through it. I grew up watching BW movies and the country of their origin never entered my mind. I used to enjoy them, both movies and songs. But then internet happened, and this whole new world where you can interact with people from across the border became so easy. I was active on Orkut in those days and there were many online communities where Pakistanis and Indians mingled. But trust me, a few days on it and I was so turned off by some Indian members' comments and attitudes, and their superior attitude to their industry, that I actually boycotted any Indian entertainment for over 2.5 years, would you believe it?!

And then with time I realized how stupid I was. By not watching anything good just because of the country of its origin, I was only robbing myself of entertainment. Those Indian members probably didn't even remember me, they didn't even matter, so why was I letting what they thought affect MY life? They didn't even represent all Indians. Because as is my experience, for every one member who talks like that, there are easily a hundred people who feel the opposite and welcome content from the other's country. It's just that they are not all online to tell you that.

I'm not telling you what to do or not do. Your post just reminded me of myself so strongly that I had to share.
