Chapter-12: Friends or Foes

It's been a month when they were away from New York and everyone else. They had a gala time with each other and forgot about everything. Even the college marked them as being missing. Only their families knew about their vacation but still they didn't contacted them. They were off from social sites and everyone thought that something too bad might have happen. Everyone was curious to know as to what happened to them.

It was a new bright day in New York, and as always the students were thinking about the future Fab-5s sudden disappearance. And to their astonishment, 5 people stepped in. Surprising them all!

"OMG! See who's here?"
"Are they for real?"
"They are alive? OMG!"

Crowd was gathering and whispering to each other when Cabir stepped aside and said, "Is there some film going on? OUT!" His voice had so much of strictness in it that they all went from there.

"Let's go to the office." Aryamann suggested and they all agreed and went towards the office to renew their admission.

After much of scoldings and pleadings, they finally got a re-admission in their campus.

"Guys did you hear? They are back!" Navya came shouting in the canteen as she took a seat with Alya.

"What? Who's back?" Alya asked casually.

"Nandini and her friends, they are back!" As Navya took their name Manik spit out his juice and started coughing. "WHAT?" He shouted loudly and everyone's eyes were on them.

"What are you gaping at? Stop staring losers!" Alya shouted and they made their way to their respective seats.

"Why did they come back?" Alya was fuming in anger. She was afraid that Manik might get hurt again. She really cared for him a lot.

"We shouldn't care Alya. We don't give a damn!" Manik raged in anger and went out of the canteen.

"I can't let them hurt him again." Alya said determined.

"Hua kya tha in sbke beech?" Dhruv and Abhimanyu asked.

"You'd never know! Leave the past! And focus karo ke unhe isse door kaise rakha jaye!" Alya said.

"Uski koi zarurat nahi hai Alya!" A voice came from behind. Cabir listened to this and came right behind her and again said, "We ourselves will stay away from your lovvveee." He said it dramatically just to irk Alya more.

"I hope you stick by your words. Loser!" Alya said and went away from there.

Cabir and Navya shared blank glances and Cabir went back from where he came, i.e. in front of the food counter. He took food for his friends and stepped out. Manik was hearing all this from behind and thought how much everything has changed in just one month. I hate that Nandini! I am sure she must have poisoned him about me! Manik thought and went into his practice room to play his guitar.

"Abe saale kahan marrgya tha! We were waiting for you since a long time bro!" Aryamann spoke as he saw Cabir marching towards them with food.

"Oh God beera I was so hungry!" Nandini stated and hugged him and snatched the sandwich out of his hold.

He passed one to Tiksha and Mukti said they she wasn't hungry. Aryamann and Cabir ate the burgers.

"So agar pet puja hogyi ho tum sab ki to ab hm chalein apne "Private" music room mein?" Mukti spoke quoting the word private.

"Yo chal!" Cabir said and they 5 went strolling around the corridors. They finally reached a room name as Fab-5 jam room.

"Kitni mast feeling aarhi hai na!" Mukti spoke as she saw the room.

"This is awesome!" Tiksha spoke and held the door to open the door and step in but she heard a voice which stopped her.

"Oh hello Miss! It's our practice room. You all aren't allowed to get inside." A guy came there and spoke facing Tiksha with rage in his eyes.

"Oh hello Mister! I think you should get your eyes checked because it's our practice room." Tiksha said pointing towards the signboard.

"Dhruv kya ho rha hai yahn?" Abhimanyu came from behind and side hugged him.

"Kch nahi buddy I was just asking them to stay away from our room." Dhruv spoke without noticing the sign board.

"Mister! We've already told you that this room is allotted to us!" Mukti came forward and spoke.

"Ehh miss. Back off ok? Go and get a room arranged for yourselves." Abhimanyu spoke coming one stop forward.

They both were staring each other with anger filled eyes when Cabir came in between Mukti and Abhimanyu.

"Leave her and talk to me. We aren't going anywhere. Get that!" Cabir spoke in a loud pitch.

"What's happening guys?" Alya came from behind and asked.

As soon as she saw Cabir she said, "Oh this is the problem. How many time do I have to tell you to stay away from us?"

"Actually, miss so-called beauty queen, we didn't come after you. You and your stupid gang came!" Aryamann said with a sarcastic smile.

"Yaar kin se lad rhe ho tum bhi? They don't even deserve a single glance." Navya spoke making her huge entry with angry glares.

"Oh miss Madhubala! You can get out from here!" Cabir spoke adjusting her specs.

"Cabir! Don't touch her!" A voice came from behind which left Nandini in dismay.

"Oh my dear Manik! Here you come for saving your "best friends."" Cabir spoke quoting the words best friends with an awkward smile.

"Oh please Cabir! We aren't interested in talking with your Chiller Party so just get lost from here!" Manik replied keeping his hands in his pockets.

"This college ain't your personal property, Mr. Manik Malhotra." Nandini came from behind and spoke adjusting her hands on her chest.

Seeing her once again after a month, Manik felt like hugging her tight. But he couldn't, seeing the circumstances. His angry expressions changed into a blank one and his eyes caught Nandini's. They don't know for how much time they stood there like that. Just then, Cabir interrupted their eyelock.

"Manik I think all of your friends including you should have an eye checkup done. It's okay if you don't have money, we can donate some for good purposes." Cabir sarcastically smiled and said his dialogues too dramatically.

"We don't need it Cabir. This room is ours." Manik spoke.

"Move your face 90 degrees towards the left and you will find out whose room is this." Mukti replied before Cabir could snap him again.

He did what he was asked to do and got shocked, "What? Fab-5 Jam room?"

"I need to talk to the principal." Manik spoke and marched out of the corridor and his gang followed him.

"Phew! What a face off!" Aryamann spoke and they all burst out into laughter. They entered their room and took some rest lying on the couches.

On the other side, Ink-5 was disturbed. How could their Jamming room be given to them? "We need to do something for this!" Dhruv spoke breaking the silence.

"You don't have to do anything. We have arranged a new jamming room for you all in front of your old one." The principal came and told them

"But sir..."

"No ifs and no buts. You will be getting that room only."

"But sir that room, it is half of the older one." Navya pointed out.

"You have to adjust Navya. They are scholarship students; they will be getting more benefits. No more arguments." The principal stated and went out of their sights.

"They will pay for it. Wait and watch you scholarship people." Manik smiled wickedly.

Phew! I know this chapter is too short for you but it seems so long for me to type. You know my condition right? So please appreciate instead of getting angry for short updates.
I've promised you na that I will give long ones, once I get well.
