Post leap will focus shift from IPS track?

The show is going for a 6 year long leap where in a lot of dynamics of the family has changed. Sandhya has become a SP (officer) and is working away from home. She is a weekend mother because of which she is not able to give enough time to her son. On the other hand Sooraj is taking care of their child and has a very strong bond with him.
