Baby opened below the mark with collections around 20-25% on average. The opening is lower than Akshay Kumar's last two films Holiday - A Soldier Is Off Duty and Entertainment.

If compared with Entertainment the opening is similar at multiplexes but lower at single screens. The film has just not opened in places like UP, Rajasthan and CI where most Akshay Kumar films start very well irrespective of their final fate. The best start is in the Delhi/NCR belt.

Normally when a big film opens at these numbers it is tough to survive but here reports are decent as fas the multiplex crowd is concerned and there is a big holiday on Monday which will prove to be big advantage if the reports can translate into collections over the weekend. Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty had started at around 30% but was doing 50-55% in evening and closed on a 11.50 crore nett plus day one. Here the task will be to pick up from mid afternoon and somehow get around the 10 crore nett mark as the Holiday number seems a stiff task.

It was expected to have a slow start. Love it how with each new film of Akshay, the critics claim it to be his best performance till date. Which shows he is the only senior actor still reinventing himself in one way or the other. Makes me proud!

Watched it few hours ago ,Neeraj pandey has delivered once again . he has easily outdone his previous best. The first half was really good and right from the start it was bang on. though it has minor boring parts but thats only a few which can be avoided easily as the movie was on target from the beginning itself. the locations were superb..easily the one in Abu Dhabi.

but the second half damn that was simply Teriffic. and the climax espcially the last 20-25 mins awsum 👍🏼

Akshay kumar managed easily to give his career best . its really good to see he is working in these kind of movies like Special 26 ,Baby,OMG. where he can show his acting talent.

The rest of the casts were good in their parts and so were the dialogues... anupam kher,murali sharma and sushant singh were good comedy relief😆 Rasheed Naz and Kay Kay menon did full justice to the negative characters they played.

Overall, i wud say a brilliantly made Thriller👏

Baby 1st Day Box Office Collection Early Trends - Akshay Kumar's Baby has started off today on a decent note on Friday morning at the box office as the film got an opening of around 30-35% on an average at multiplexes where as the single screens are on the lower side with an average occupancies of around 25%.

If the opening is compared to the last 2 Akshay Kumar releases Holiday and Entertainment, then the opening is bit higher than Entertainment (9.75 cr) but lower than Holiday (12 cr). The film despite competition with Dolly Ki Doli has got a big release in around 2700 plus screens.

According to early trends the film should touch the double digit mark if the trends remain similar throughout the day but if it shows big jump in evening as it has got good word of mouth it can also get close to the first day number of Holiday.

This film will do 100 cr like BMB did with average opening.Amazing reviews.Akshay rocks

Just watched baby and It was awesome ; much better thn so called PK😊 ; Aamir khan might have scored more with controversy but this movie is better thn PK in all respects😊.

Any idea how much it will make today...Planning to see it this week end...the reviews are awesome...😛
