Outside, Helen threatens all that she'll commit suicide. Neil listens to Ragini's voice mail and feels that the voice is familiar. He attempts to call when a nurse reports Helen's suicide drama to him. Neil replies that emergency will occur after her jump and he's a cardiologist not an orthopedician. On the nurse's constant requests, Neil finally arrives outside. He asks Helen that why she's set to adopt this step to which Helen replies that she loves him and can't bear his rejection. Neil clarifies that he has no feelings for her and so her decision is fair, all her bones will break and even her heart will stop, causing the pain to end. Saying so, he motivates her to jump and Helen is stunned like hell. Neil further says that he doesn't believe in love and marriage and hasn't read any of her messages or listened to her voice mails. If she calls him now, he'll report to police causing her heart's agony to progress. Come on, jump! Helen vents out her frustration and Neil admits that he won't be a bit affected. He inquires if they have an insurance, a nurse says that they have but it'll cause some loss. Neil utters that he'll take care of the loss and tells Helen that she can take her time to jump and goes while the former screams and calls him a 'Heartless Man'.
Inside, Neil utters that those who wish to die don't do such drama, emotional blackmail is an old habit of women and he doesn't wish to face it again. A nurse reports to him that he has three surgeries in his schedule and his daughter's graduation party is today, she said it a month ago. Neil says that work comes first and after finishing his surgeries he'll meet his daughter. Heart patients need a heartless doctor like him.
Pari inquires Ragini about the foreigner doctor. Ragini assures her that the doctor will come and she'll be fine soon. She utters that a broken heart can't be healed, so never let it break. Pari asks her about her broken heart, Ragini tells her that she never healed it. Ragini goes out and a woman thanks her for her support. When she's taken away, her husband invites Ragini for a date. The latter tells him that a young doctor of this hospital admires his wife and wishes to go to coffee with her. The man gets irked and Ragini instructs him to stay in his limits. Aman comes there with her phone and she vents out her frustration by lecturing him on men's attitude. A confused Aman hands her phone to her and says that her son called 2-3 times.
Neil asks the nurses to get back to his work and blabbers that he forgot the graduation day. Scene shifts to a party where we're introduced to Aagam Khanna and Pam, Neil's son and sister. Aagam wishes to flirt with the ladies but nobody is interested in him and all are pining for his dad. Aagam's sister Suhaani comes downstairs and a man hands over keys to her, saying that her dad sent it. Aagam and Suhaani see a car parked outside but the latter seems upset with Neil's absence and craves for his time and a mother.
Aarav sees a bike from his terrace and desires it. Ragini arrives home and hands over a laptop to him, denying his demand of a bike. Aarav is disappointed and craves for his dad. Scene shifts to USA where Suhaani inquires Pam about her mother and the rift between her parents. Pam tells her that her mother was like a moon, that appears at night and vanishes in the morning, her parents had a lot of differences. Suhaani expresses her wish to meet her mother but Pam rejects her wish.
