YEs, you have read it correctly. There in no pun intended and I'm not drunk (like Raman 😉 😆😆).
Before writing this let me clarify, I'm not one of the CVs or in any way related to them. I am a neutral audience who recently bumped into this show "Yeh hai mohabbetin"

Amidst all these worries and cries that track is being dragged and that there are no nok-jhoks of IShRa, I would say this track is going on well and fine!!! I will give my reasons too.

First of all, don't force the CVs to end the track or change the track. Let them move in their own pace. For once, lets trust them on the basis of their good work till now. Its ok to express your opinion if you don't like the track but don't force them, I repeat. There have been shows where the stories have changed due to fan demands instead of the creative's ideas and in the end they are left with no story at all. A slow pace is good.

Most of the fans are upset because we all miss the cute nokh-jhoks of Raman and IShita. But if thats the only thing they show it would get repetitive. If you see, at first Ishu-Raman had serious issues and they were fighting non-stop. Then slowly but steadiy they developed a "different bonding".. A couple who understand and respect each other. Nothing romantic but they are there for each other and we loved them like that. Then came the stage when they started asking "kahi tumhe mujhse pyar to nhi hua"
And if you remember the scene between Bala and IShu, where Bala said " in dono ke beech me kya everyone can see but they need to see it before its too late"
But seriously if not this accident, they would lead their whole life calling it a different bonding 😲 😆

So next thing they need is a serious jolt, a 1000V current to realise that all this is not enough!!
Like where Ishita said, I thoguht I would be happy being Ruh's mom but noo..thats not enough now.

This time the shock will go to Raman. He needs to realise what place Ishita holds in his life. That is where all this is leading. There is no character assassination of Raman coz the thing he had already done for Adi, making Ishu apologize to Shagun is more humiliating than all these.
This means he would go to any extend. Raman's action are justified in his own point of view coz he is protecting his own son. He would have done the same thing if Adi hit Toshiji.
Recently there was a malayalam movie "Drishyam" which shows how a common man stood up to cover up an unintentional murder commited by his wife and daughter. So much was the impact of the movie that the commisioner raised doubts on the social message that is given to the public and the director said he was being realistic. In real lfie jab apno pe baat ati he, to sab aise hi react krte he. He may not be right but he gets an excuse of creative imagination. Same goes here for the makers.

Sorry for the long post, but here are some of the positives of this track.

The night of Amma's accident when Raman shared Adi's happiness with Ishita. He was opening up and the brilliant CVs actually dropped it there as to where this track will go ie, to Adi.
Then the party scene where without much drama Ishu demanded her right to be invlolved with Adi's issues.
Then came the culprit revelation and Raman did exactly opposite of what Ishu said.He kept the truth away from her.

Still we can see Ishu supporting him from a distance, the court scene Mrs. Kaul, ruhi's food heating scene etc.. Isn't that an awesome IShRa moment? After all love is not just holding hands or eye-locks with the bgm.

Then another imp scene is Ruhi's outburst. I have done the same thing when my parent's extend a fight for more than normal period. That was another piece of brilliance from the CVs.

Overall it is a well-crafted track rather than a dragged one, may be a bit over-dramatic at times. Only thing is Raman and Ishu are on opposite sides. But this has to happen so that they realise each others place in their life. Ishu needs to know how much effect Raman has on her by the amount of apin she feels. Raman needs to know where Ishu stands in his life. If she is not with him even his family is not with him and ironically she is still with him.

Recently I read the short summary of custody and in the book Ishita tells Raman that Adi was not his son long time before. I want to see the same in the show rather than Ishu correcting Adi.
This tarck needed to be dragged to show what all Raman could do for Adi. To show how much Ishu loves Raman without actually knowing and lets believe that by the end of this track something major is gonna happen on a positive note.

I'm really enjoying this track too and totally agree about IshRa's nhok-jhok because I love it and want to enjoy YHM for a long time I know that there has to be variety in the story and we can't only want IshRa scenes because they will soon run out of ideas and everyone will be bored.

The CVs know what their doing and I think this is realistically possible even though like you said sometimes they make it dramatic but then again it's a daily soap and that's to be accepted.

Well said 👏

a very positive note...
I agree...yes I am honest enough to reveal that I hate this track...one of the worst track of YHM till date...but I prefer to go with the flow...and concentrate on good performance of KP...DT...AH...RD...

I hope the track ends soon...its beyond my tolerance now...

the issue is not Ishra scenes for me...I feel when there is pain...the relationship gets stronger and thicker...my issue is on RKB character...I know human are flaws...but that doesn't mean discriminate your love b/w both your kids and majboori nonsense...whether majboori or no majboori...its the duty of a father to correct his son...advise him not run away from responsibilities but face it...fight it...emerge as a winner no matter what is the outcome...be truthful and honest to your soul...regret your mistake...try to rectify...even a blind love parents shows their kids the right and wrong path of lives...not a father like RKB...instead of telling his son what major offence he has done by causing the accident...he is being all goody goody to his brat as if nothing major happened...covering up his dirty deeds instead of making him realise that a death would have happen through the accident...arranging a picnic...and above all showering all love on his brat when he has committed a crime...and like a jerk shouting at his daughter for no reason...this is my issue...

Thnx for the comment.
I knw its irritating to see Raman becoming helpless. But Adi is his first child and the sentiment is always different for the first kid be it a boy or girl. Raman cannot scold or correct Adi because he can not do that legally and his son is not emotionally connected to him. Imagine some person you hate asking you to do something you dislike. why would you do it? Same with Adi. They shoudl shw that Raman can never be Adi's father.
Raman protecting Adi, because he is desperate to win Adi's love ( the same odl majburi 😆 😆) and second when we fall and hurt ourselves first our parents take us to doc and then scold or may be do it simultaneously. Here Raman needs to take action to save Adi. He shouts at Shagun for giving Adi the car but his shouting at Adi is pointless because he has no right on his own son.
The real problem is Adi is not connected to Raman just like Ruhi is not connected to Shagun. Ruhi is not rude though. But the main point of the book and the show is the effect a divorce has on kids. Raman shouts at Ruhi becuase she is his own. Even if he didn't express his love to Ruhi in the beginning the child loves him unconditionally and he knows that. Like Ishu said gussa unpe krte he jinpe humara haq he.
uffoo mujhe Ishita ki hawa lag layi..dekho lecture de rhi hu
but saarey South Indians aise nhi hote 😳 😆 😆
