Nobody compared Ganga and Anandi

I have many issues with Anandi & her strategies, particularly the way her character has been post marriage with Shiv. My dislike with her approach/behaviour and therefore the unpleasantness with the character have not subsided.

However, your above post is well-articulated and also brings out the essence of Anandi's character very well. You have once again made me appreciate the character of Anandi, who I used to admire since the beginning until her second marriage.

I still feel Anandi has stopped growing post marriage and hasn't done anything worthwhile in her life, to suit an iconic character/personality like hers. And I will always have this grudge till Cvs show her growing holistically with the right focus and thoughts behind it. But yes it is a fact that she has always managed to sail through her difficulties in her own ways and she will do it this time as well.

Coming to Ganga -Anandi; the two can't be compared. Ganga is street smart and knows how to take fast actions to get what she wants. She also gets faster results.

Anandi is not street smart and that's why the results happen when they happen, till then she suffers. She has a good sense of right from wrong and will always support right, but she is not witty. She usually stops at being good-hearted and genuine. Her ways are good, but not timely / practical and that's where she lacks and loses battles at times or goes into elongated suffering.
