I know she is talented, an absolute natural and definitely lights up the screen.
She made a legendary onscreen pairing with SRK.
But what amazes me most about her is how she kept getting biggies with top stars and filmmakers even after marriage and motherhood! K3G, Fanaa, MNIK.
When death knell is spelt for women around age of 30, whether they are single or married and their best efforts do not result in getting offers (no friendship or past record help them)...their former filmmaker and actor friends move on. How come Kajol managed to get such solid commercial films? Fanaa is even more amazing because she and Aamir were not exactly known to get along well with each other in 90s.
She has always been favorite for awards also.
Some actresses are written off due to their lack of PR nor attitude problems. Kajol never went through that either, no?
She has also kept getting better looking and better dressed with time.
She never had to get relegated to arthouse circuit. Other actresses get kicked out from ads, while Kajol is still popular. She had all the respect as a performer and real good commercial success.
