EBP and shlokie continue to keep us spellbound with their mysteries and today's episode
turned the show in the direction of shlok's another avatar - the shlok that impulsively and genuinely cares for aastha however much he may deny it - đ
and today's episode also exposed the stupidity and meaness in womanhood that effectively helps destroy women overall - the truism again holds good that women are in large part responsible for women's sufferingđ¤˘
Today's episode made be feel very very uncomfortable and embarrased to say that i am a woman
- really if one has a saas like anjali and a SIl like sojal, one is excused for finding the nearest rope and not hanging oneself đbut them both together in one shotđĄđ
it starts with a recap of the anjali-aastha convo abt nirjal vrat and then aastha being taunted by shlok abt her keeping vrat - that was a very good scene - tho we see the offscreen shooting segments, the actual scene appears so intense and effective because of the close up shots and the wonderful apt expressions on avi and shrenu's faces -
anyway, shlok instigates aastha again about not being among the flag waving reformist women cateogry - tells her "tumhari bas ki baat nahi" shlok - what exactly are you trying to do - wind her up and unwind her - this aastha clock will get ticking like a time bomb soon and explode - hopefully not on your face buddyđ
the most excruciating part of today's episode follows with aastha having not only to prepare for this large A household but also for a lot of orphans - "really anjali- 100 odd rotis and that too on an empty stomach !!! - and aastha sweating and almost swooning in the kitchen only to be taunted by sojal with an offer of a pick up drink -
prior to that, the scene in kalindi's house was so touching and brought out the contrast in women so starkly - here was a mother who sensed and empathised with her daughter - almost knew she was in some trouble and in need of food in particular - and that wonderful statement - why do only daughters have to leave the house - great kalindi - a query me and im sure so many of you forumwasis and girls all over have posed time and over again.
anyway, our anjali's sathaaney ka serial continues in A houshold and she mocks aastha abt making a big drama of keeping nirjal vrat for one day and not one month - well anjali, keeping this vrat is not the same as going abt without slippers for one month thats for suređđ
the dining scene and aastha's continued discomfort made me squirm, and our man NA adds insult to injury by asking aastha abt her dad and anjali of course has to promptly reply that girl's parents shd not be visiting so often etc etc
ofcourse again, NA makes an exit and its jayaji's turn to tempt aastha with food - i do hope jaya is packing off and taking sojal also with her - both of them are becoming unbearable - CVS - WHY DONT YOU LISTEN TO USđ
aastha is again bugged with get ready for HM demands by shlok when she goes to take rest in the room and is again called back by anjali ( btw just a thot - is this HM going to take place or what ?????đ˛
back goes aastha to clean some silver plates ( why anjali - do you want jayaji to whack of polished plates when she disappears today (wishful thinking)
and aastha then falls in a faint just in time for our hero to save her from falling thud on the ground - he actually revives her with water brought by varad while all three women in the house stand by watching as if they are etched in stone - really shameful to say the least - and sojal even pleases MIl rather than hubby by not getting some juice from the kitchen - and our dear aastha breaks the fast with juice lovingly offered by her dear kamina hubby who is suddenly very very and i think genuinely concerned abt his darling frail wife - my biggest disappointment - kamina romance has to wait till Monday - very badđ
shrenu did an outstanding job as a person who is dizzy and slowly losing control = not one bit of overacting on her part - she is really a very good actress - avi was also good but the others did not have much to do except have stock expressions on their faces - glad that varad if not a man in the house, proved to be a better woman at that point ( sorry for the cheap jokeđĽąđĽą
have a gt weekned folks - make sure you break your nirjal - jayaji be damnedđđ
