Why did Shakti join Akbar?

As per current track shakti will be adopted by rawat ji and i think he will be given all the love, care and attention he always wanted. I believe that rawat ji parenting will definately not be questionable, as he doesn't have any child he will take good care of Shakti. If everything goes like this why will Shakti turn against Mewar? As he has broken all the ties with Uday Singh so it wouldn't affect him whom US makes his uttaradhikari. Kindly tell me the reason, if anyone knows that what let Shakti join Akbar? Which incident forced him to turn against his own Mewar?

I think Shakti would join Akbar due to his father US...he wanted to take revenge...or to humiliate his father...but the main reason of course US

shakti will be haunted by his fathers words day and night and now deerabai will have full freedom to influence shakti against pratab only in latar age he will realize the true love of pratab for him and knwo the actual deerabai intention and feel for it and come back to apologies to pratab and give his support to pratab .I think he was send towards south to take charge of the army by pratab.

There are differing accounts of this on various sites online. Some say US turned him out. One site even said Pratap asked him to leave! Another says it was Akbar who managed to lure him to join him.

Going by the serial, it is evident that discrimination and humiliation by US must have led Shakti to take this step as a revenge in future.

We do not know what kind of a father Raawat ji would prove to be. He may be way better than US but his loyalties first lie with US and Pratap and then anybody else.

Who'd be happy to be thrown out by their father and picked up by father's employee out of mercy?! 😲

Raawat ji can be all nice to Shakti but this humiliation and hurt emanating from being treated like an object - thrown by someone and taken by someone without even his own consent or consultation will remain forever.

Anybody in his place would get bitter and swear revenge.

NO ONE asked US not to disown him as a son. Even Pratap didn't say anything. Rather Raawat ji offered to adopt him.

When that useless US suddenly changed his decision and made Jagmal his successor for Bhaatiyani's sake, Pratap too had the right to be bitter. But thanks to his upbringing, and favour he usually enjoyed from day one from all quarters and later all nobles pitching in for him to make him king - he did not become bitter. Also he was more mature when US backstabbed him (I will call it backstabbing only!). Whereas Shakti is a growing child at a critical and impressionable age of life as all this is happening to him. He will be more affected for the rest of his life.

He saved Pratap at a crucial juncture later, risking his own life. That is proof of a certain soft corner in his heart and realisation at a more mature age that issues with US don't have anything to do with Pratap. I think it will be the moment of the show when these brothers will unite.

Shakti has no issues with anyone. It was only US. And it's sad that US ruined it further with his own hands! He sucks!

The answer is simple n dts revenge, shakti has gone through emotional trauma which hz damaged him 4m inside, hez only a child he wont 4get wt hz happened :( hez running away 4m his father n palace not cuz he hates him but cuz he loves him a lot n cant bear his father's attitude towards him , he will join akbar to hurt Uday singh, to make his father feel d pain through which HE himself went through wen his own father favoured his opponent Pratap(agree or not both d bros hav never bin bffs) , he'll want him to realize wt it feels lyk wen sm1 u luv favours ur enemy n dxnt giv a damn abt ur sentiments...

All that wat we ppl have seen will lead him to hate Pratap more and he will go to join Akbar's camp

Also to be honest, it is only the serial which is showing Pratap all nice and goody goody to Shakti.

Historical records on various websites assert that Pratap and Shakti had intense rivalry between them. Once they were fighting a duel so fiercely in a forest that either of them could have been killed. A priest came in between to stop them but he got killed (not sure by whose sword!).

So it is understandable that hostility and bias in family made Shakti bitter and he swore revenge on US and his clan.

A person who's been treated unfairly or received less recognition for most of his life would respond favourably if someone else accords him respect. Akbar, being the astute politician that he was, must have lured Shakti with his sweet talk that he understood him and all blah blah - pressing the right emotional blackmail buttons.

Shakti risked his life to save Pratap and Sagar committed suicide in guilt - this shows somewhere they did have a conscience and had loyalty towards their land despite their father's third rate treatment to them. They must've felt ashamed of being used as pawns by Akbar.

I must say it was a bad life for them. Na idhar ke rahe na udhar ke.

I'll be reply you all just want to add to last comment of skepblun dat only one site says so otherwise if we search other sites i've read that uday singh was d person whom shakti hated, if he saved pratap in war and joined him later leaving akbar it wz all because of concern and gud deeds which pratap did for shakti. Had pratap been so envious of shakti then shakti would have never came back to him

Shakti owes his lyf to pratap now mayb he'll just want to return d favour in d battle ov haldighati or mayb he'll realize dt mughals r just using him to snatch his motherland away
