Can DEEPIKA perform PAKHI in LOOTERA???

😉 😛 So back to what I do best. I thought Sonakshi was amazing in Lootera. She proved her worth. The main question, could Deepika have done Pakhi? I don't think so. Deepika may be number one, but I want to see a raw acting job from her. Please share your thoughts. 😉

Personally I think Sonakshi for me did the best job so it's pretty hard to imagine anyone else besides her as Pakhi

There are certain roles which are best suited for a certain actor and after watching Lootera I cannot imagine anyone else as Pakhi forget Deepika not even Vidya Balan who was the initial choice by Motwane for Pakhi's role. I do not think anybody else could have been as effecting, flawless and bang on as Sonakshi in Pakhi's role. So its a NO from me.

No not at all. She would not be a learn to pull it so flawlessly.

Yes but she would have had to work really hard on her dialogue delivery. Sonakshi was much better in that dept than DP has ever been.

I don't see why not. It's hard to imagine anyone play Pakhi's role other than Sonakshi after watching it, but it doesn't mean no one else could have played it.

But I always liked Sonaski better as an actress than Deepika.

Why did Vidya refuse to do Lootera?

Lootera was written in 2005 was to be made in 2006 with Vidya and John. But was never made as Vikramaditya decided to change the script with adding Last Leaf at the end. Which encouraged him to change the cast. He did after Ranveer and Sona won newcomer awards at Filmfare while he won award for best film critics for Udaan
