So Toral made it to the last round and Ekta took the final call. I think it is wonderful that Toral reached till there. 😊 Practice makes perfection. Toral is lucky. She missed Jodha, so what, she got Anandi.

by giving these e.g. i want 2 say that Ekta can also make mistakes.and i m also not saying Toral is fab. shes doing fine . sumtimes she does gud work & sumtimes its Ok. so why 2 bash or crticise toral bcoz ekta rejecetd her?? if sum members r not liking her acting its fine if they give their reasons like Lavy or 1-2 members r giving but justifying it by making ekta sum demi-god in finding talents is v.strange.😕

and abt jodha-akbar i won't watch it not bcoz 4 me aish is jodha etc. but bcoz i know ekta will defntly ruin it like she did wid Mahabharat. she can make gud movies whether historical or fiction or oder but can't make shows which can b called classic or cult or even v.gud. she has lost that touch in shows.where she has 2 tell the story just for few months or few hrs. ekta does wonders but wen it has 2 take more time then after 6 or 12 months her shows bcum crap or rather more than oder PH's shows.

The main scenes between Smriti and Apara Mehta are fascinating. The one time I saw such a powerful scene after the Tulsi Savita talk when Tulsi tells Savita about her husband's infidelity is in BV when Smita stops Prats from filling her maang. Golden Days!

I agree with you that Ekta has had her share of bad shows but then she has some really successful shows to her kitty too.In a way if we see she was the one who brought the concept of daily soaps to the forefront. And from that pov, even Sphere origins has had its share of flops.So I doubt that can be a criterion for deciding that whether a PH is good or not.May be yes she cant produce a cult show but then that doesnt make her any less.KJo cant make cult movies coz his genre is simple run of the mills romance and he is great in that.Similarly, social issues is not Ekta's genre and just because she doesn't tackle social issues doesnt make her any less.So i think they are good in what they are doing and not doing what others are doesn't make them any less.

@bold i was also trying 2 say this. i know sphere origins has its flop but still this PH till now has produced better shows than ekta i.e atleast they havn't ruined their shows like ekta does.

i agree that ekta has brought daily soaps 2 forefront. and its not that ekta can't produce such shows. she has that calibre. luk @ her movies.if see ehr earlier shows like Koshish, Hum Panch, Itihaas. they were really v.gud & all were soaps. i m just saying that in competition she has lost that thing & she needs 2 recover that.

she may not b able 2 make cult shows but i know she can make quite gud shows which entertain us but she ruins them & i hav prob wid that.

Coming to toral, I dont know if she could have done justice to Jodha or not but surely she is not doing justice to Anandi.I know many people think that she should be given time etc but then its already been nearly 2 months since she entered BV and still in most of the scenes she looks out of character.The snail speed at which she is progressing, I have lost all the connection with Anandi.
no i m also not saying if she cud'd done justice 2 it or not. i m not judgemental.i can't say abt it till i don't watch the actor's perf.i don't know abt justice 2 A as i'd stopped watching A's scenes from many months even wen prats was there as i felt disconnected from that ckt @ that time itself bcoz A bcame 2 montonous & i felt sum tiredness in prats .but watever scenes i'd watched now i feel like ok & sumtimes not up2 the mark. i m not saying shes better than prats.and snail's pace i think the show is itself going wid this speed.
You know I always say I love Sargun because she is so natural.Theres nothing about her that looks forced coz when an actor emotes forcefully, the entire grip of the character is lost.Toral might be doing a 'fine' job as u said but she has zero percent natural grace which the character of Anandi needs.Surely one day she will fit into the character coz ppl will develop habit of seeing her but the amount of time she is taking to get into the skin of the character, it took away all my connection with Anandi. And I cant force myself to like her coz she is playing Anandi.

and abt sragun i agree wid u. she never luks forced.and like i said i'd stopped watching A much from many months & also after replacements.so can't say abt acting potnl much. all i want 2 say that just bcoz ekta rejected doesn't mean shes bad actress.and by fine means shes av. till now and yeah she doesn't hav that natural grace which A's ckt needs. i m also not a fan of her but i m against her bashing &shes getting just bcoz she replaced prats. here most of the ppl r not disliking toral just 4 her poor perf but mainly bcoz she replaced prats & shes PH's liking against ppl's wishes.
