1. that girl with whom Riya had an imaginary convo is Suhani, his sis, Dev - Pallavi biological daughter.she still miss her, and talks sometime too.u will see more of their talks.
2.that guy who killed her mom is unfortunately Riya's father.

Chapter 4
Reliving the past part 2
The nxt dat , team ETF split into two teams and investigate the murder.Riya along with Sameer , went to the victim's college and talked to her friends.her frnds told them that Shalini (victim) and her bf Saahil were very much in love.Saahil's parents already knew abt them and they were happy for their son. they also spoke with the girl's bf. He was too shocked and crying continuously.after taking sometime, he confirmed that Shalini was going to break the news abt their relationship in her house.he also said that her father has very orthodox thinking, so she was scared to face him.
Meanwhile, Acp Arjun with Shree and Chotu talked to the family members once again.the members of the family has strong alibi to prove that they were nt inolve in the murder. victim's mother, along with her younger daughter was in the temple at that time.the housemaid was in the departmental store.victim's father was in the nearby park that time.
''par sir, kal ek ajeeb baat hui.'' The housemaid spoke.
''kya baat?'' Shree asked.
''kal sirjee zindagi mein pehli baar chai banana ke liye kitchen mein gaye.maine itni baar kahan ki main chai bana deta hoon,pr unhone suna hi nhi.unko to chini bhi nhi mil rhi thi.fir mujhe store jana para.pr baad mein maine dka ki chini to ghar mein hi thi.shayad sir jee ne thk se dkha nhi hoga.''
''kal jab tum wapas aye to sirjee kahan the?'' Arjun asked.
''main jb gaya to who ghar main hi the.jb wapas aya to who saamne wali park mein the.park poora sunsaan tha.woh bilkul akele the.''he stopped then he remember something and again said '' sirjee aur babyjee ka 1din pehle thoda jhagra ho gaya tha shayad.''
''kis baat ko lekr?'' Arjun asked.
'' who to mujhe nhi pata saab.pr babyjee jb sirjee ke room se ussdin nikli, to who ro rhi thi.''
In no time,the team connected the dots and decided to interrogate victim's father.Arjun's gut-feeling was saying that victim's father is indeed the killer.
''mr. Ashish, aap ne hi aapki beti ka khoon kiya hain.'' Arjun's voice rang in the victim's house.the other member in the house, his wife and daughter, gasped in shock.the wife shouted '' yeh kya bakwaas kr rhe hain aap? Aisa nhi ho sakta?''
''yeh kya bekar ki baat kr rahe hain aap? Main apni beti ka khoon karoonga?'' the man said in a firm voice.
''humein aapki beti k college se yeh baat pata chali hain, ki Shalini aaplogon ko jald hi apne bf ke bare mein bata dene waali thi.aur shyad aap ko yeh baat pata chal gyi ho.aur issiliye…'' Rathore voice stopped becoz of his shout.
''apni bakwaas baatein band kijiye.main apni beti ka khoon kyun karronga? Aur usne mujhe kisi ladke ke bare mein nhi bataya.samjhe aap?''
''na hi hum bekaar ki baatein kr rahe hain,aur naa hi aap sach bol rahe hain.aur waise bhi humare paas eye-witness hain, jisne aapko Shalini ka khoon krte huye dkha hain.'' Arjun decided to play a trick on him. He again spoke, '' aapka housemaid, usne dkha hain aapko Shalini ko maar te huye.''
''yeh kaise ho sakta hain?''
''kyun nhi ho sakta hain?'' Rathore asked him.
''kyunki uss waqt ghar pe koi that hi nhi.'' At last, he spilled the beans .he stopped after realizing what he said and sat on the sofa.his wife and daughter was sobbing hysterically.Riya went to comfort them.
''haan, maine hi khoon kiya tha Shalini ka.kyunki who hamari khan daan ki izzat ko barbaad krne pr tuli huyi thi.woh humse hesiyat mein chote ek ladke ke saath shaadi krna chahti thi.ussne mujhe 1 din pehle hi bata diya tha uss ladke ke bare mein.maine use mana kiya tha ki dobara uss ladke se kopi contact na rakhe.pr fir bhi who nhi maani.woh to ghar se bhaagne ki taiyyari kr rhi thi.iss liye maine use maar dala.humari khaandaan ki izzat jo bachani thi.kya kehte hamare relatives,k hum apni beti ko samval nhi paaye?hum apni beti saamne jhuk gaye?'' at last he stopped.
Riya couldn't control anymore.she went to him and said '' ab aapke khaandaan ki izzat kitni bade gina,jb aapko humlog hathkari pehnakr le jayene.aap jaise parent hone se to anath hona achha hain.'' And she stormed outside the house,feeling disgusted.
She stopped in front of the Etf SUV. She felt so pity on that dead girl,and angry as hell for that man who was unfortunately her father.she couldn't feel when someone stand beside her.
''age isse bhi ghinone (worst) chehre dekhogi crime k, Mukherjee.abhi se hi itni kamzor pr gyi?'' it was Acp Arjun.
''main kamzor nhi pr gyi, bass uss ladki ke liye dukh ho raha hain.aaj tak news mein suna tha, aur aaj dkh bhi liya.humare parents bachpan se humein itna pyaar dete hain,humari har khusi ko poora krte hain.aur jab humein humari zindagi ke sabse badi khusi unke saath share krna chahte hai.tb who log humare saath aisa kaise kr sakte hain? Kya khaandaan ki izzat bachhon ki khusi se badkar hoti hain? Ek parent ke liye apne bachhon se bhi badkar kya khaandaan ki izzat hti hain?'' she stopped after finishing her talk, thinking about the poor girl.
Here, her words keep echoing in his ears. '' Kya khaandaan ki izzat bachhon ki khusi se badkar hoti hain?'' .he couldn't help but remember the incident, for which he has lost his family.
5yrs before….
Today was a big day for Arjun.he had received his transfer letter from pune to Mumbai.also this day was important, as he was going to tell his family about Roshni, his gf.he wanted to tell his family and marry her.he was about to go when from his mother, he came to know that his marriage was being fixed to some girl of his father's choice.he decided to tell his family now about his relationship with Roshni.
His father, Suryakant Rawte, was a very serious kind of person.he was never frndly with his children, and all feared him . his personality was very intimidating.Arjun was just like his father.his father was his idol, he respected him,bt he loved his mother more.he kept his distance from his father,as they had different POV about somethings and his father never changed his thinking, ever.so telling his father was a difficult job.yet he went, coz he loved this girl, Roshni too much.he cant think to marry another girl and stay away from her.
as soon his father heard the words said from his son's voice, he got angry.The Suryakant Rawte couldn't bear that his one and only son would go against him and marry a girl, who's status was low from them.this girl, that was choosed by him, was gd enough to be the DIL of Rawte family.before hearing any further about Roshni, he started to say wrong things about her.and our great Acp couldn't bear it.
''pls stop it baba.i know her.she is a very wonderful person.ekbaar usse mil to lijiye.i am sure she will win your heart.''
''mera faisla nhi badlega, Arjun.tumhari shaadi wahi hogi jaha maine tay kiya hain.bass aur koi behas nhi.''
''behas to hogi baba.meri shaadi aap mujhse bina puchhe kaise tay kr sakte ho? Main kabhie uss ladki ke saath khush nhi reh paoonga.pls baba, Roshni ko accept kr lijiye.kya sirf aapki izzat hi sabkuchh hain? Meri khusiyan apke liye koi maine nhi rakhti?''
''tumhare khushi ke liye hi to main yeh kr raha hoon.main aise ladkiyon ko ache se janta hoon, Arjun.woh sirf isiliye tumhare saath hain kyuki tum bade ghar ke bete ho.woh tumhe fasa rahi hai. Mala samjat nahi (I dnt understand) , Arjun, ki usne tumpar kya jaadoo kr diya hain?'' Suryakant Rawte stopped and said, '' tumhari shaadi wohi hogi jaha maine tay kiya hain.''
''nhi baba, aap galat ho.aur main aap ke pasand ladki ke saath shaadi nhi karoonga.'' Arjun's determined voice angered his father even more.he could'nt bear it and slapped him.
''nikal jao mere ghar se, isse pehle ki main kuchh kr baithoo.aur dobara laut kr mat ana yaha.''
That day, and today, Arjun Rawte never returned to his father's house. His mom called after that incident, begged him to come back, but his father never called him.and being the stubborn and egoistic himself, he did'nt went back too.he used to pick up his mom's call, but after Roshni's death, he ignored their call.and now, his mother call also stopped.
