Why Juhi is ruining her image ?

She was the number-1 actress one time and even retired from Bollywood as one of the top most leading ladies. Her name used to come after sridevi & Madhuri, and she made a huge place for herself as one of the bollywood's top most prominent actresses of 90's.

I am not sure what went wrong with her than. Don't even go to the super-choosy queen-bees madhuri and sridevi, even her juniors and lesser popular than her actresses like karishma, kajol, tabu, raveena, sonali, pooja bhatt, etc never done any faaltu movie or a big banner film in small roles.

I don't know why Juhi started ruining her own image of one of the most successful leading ladies by doing un-important small roles in small movies like jhankaar beats, kismat connection, khamosh-khauf ki raat, crazy 4, Paheli, Luck by chance and now Son of sardar.
She even played the small role of Srk's bhabhi in paheli (that too some 7 years ago in 2005) with whom she used to come in lead in many films.
Any small time character actress could play these small side roles.

Her husband is a very wealthy famous personality in business world so money also can't be the reason (and how much one can make essaying small roles in small films or small roles in big budgeted movies anyways) ...

what could be the reason of her unwise choices, and why she is damaging her made with so much hardwork place and image in Bollywood?
can't understand.

may be she is not comfortable playing a heroine any more?

i remember her saying every thing goes with age and comfort and how she has done enough of that- now she by her own will wants to do character roles as they are less hectic and she can get time for home as well

BTW she got most praises by critics out of the cast for her role in SOS

Juhi is a true artist at heart...very much like artists like Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher. I see nothing wrong in doing strong supporting roles. Craving for lead roles make most of the former divas sit at home most of the time.

Exactly! And it's not like she's doing side roles only- she did Teen Deewarein, My Brother Nikhil, Bas Ek Pal and I Am Kalam too.. and was praised a lot for all of them. Now she is with Madhuri in Gulab Gang.

we all saw what a disaster karisma made of herself by doing DI

and what about urmila raveena etc- they are just sitting at home or endorsing chai etc

juhi is better off than them!

only one who is ahead of her is madhuri and sridevi- other wise juhi has won acclaim for her supporting roles like a true artist!

also not every one's children are comfortable seeing their mom do something like munni badnaam etc- may be thats why juhi does these roles to not make her children feel awkward!

i love juhi! :D

how can u blame her when the industry doesn't allow her...she had one of the most successful pair with Aamir..will the industry give her a chance to repeat her success...no not at all...she is taking what's coming her way. please don't blame her...its a male dominated industry.

well I wanted to see that true artist in her at her peak that she rarely shown us.
Nothing wrong in playing supporting roles .. but were they really STRONG ... I dont think so... not atleast in kismat connection, Paheli, crazy 4 , khamosh-khof ki raat and some other films like that.
They were not even challenging or decent.

Besides I think one needs to care for her/his reputation that they made in the industry with so much of a hardship investing so many years of hardwork, blood & sweat.

Blaming ? 😕 just asking a simple question.
industry needs to growup now.
We need true actresses... its not some modelling world where only young girls can be accepted.
Bollywood really needs to change itself.
Besides I think she should not waste herself in these small films playing unimportant side roles with no or minimum margin to perform.

Karishma atleast maintained her image of a mainstream star in prominant role.
She was a top notch heroine and imo should not have played those small roles having no such value in most of her post-marriage movies.
I never saw her getting acclodes for any of these movies besides maybe my brother nikhil or 3 deewarain.
rest all films having her and wasted her talent to be honest in unimportant roles having no such margin to perform.
