It's really strange that a SP show is ending so suddenly.It had never happened in the history of SP that a show will end because the lead actor is leaving the show.Kyunki didn't end when Amar Upadhyay left the show.Kahiin toh hoga didn't end when Rajeev Khandelwal(who too was as popular among teenage girls during that time like barun) left.But IPKKND is going to end because Barun Sobti is leaving the show.😲Quite unbelievable!I never never thought in my wildest dreams that a professional,overtly successful and a business minded channel will succumb to fans pressure and decide to end the show in just one week.😲

Normally channels 2-3 weeks time to ph to end the show but here u can say the channel didn't give time to ph to even end the show.They are just leaving the story incomplete and not ending it.

This is really strange.Has SP really bowed down to fans pressure and threats or there's something else which nobody knows till now?

I really hope someone uncovers the actual truth behind the show being left incomplete.

There is something def wrong between PH and Barun. Something massively went wrong between two parties. I am happy, yet I am sad because show is ending, happy because it's ending with ARSHI.
How sure are you that SP won't cast them again? how do you know that none of the production house are ready to sign SARUN?
So, they are all afraid of fans? This is ridiculous! why?
I don't think fans would have bashed Gul, if she handled situation a bit better. She lost it comepletely.

Not just Gul all channels have learnt lesson to take only those actors who are veterans and know the gring of TV industry..

I agree.. Barun should not have left. I feel bad for Sanaya who worked hard and other members who worked hard. Ofcourse , the 200 odd people wil have ill feelings towards Barun as he became primarily responsible for depriving them of their bread and butter. Fans can say what ever they want. I am also a fan of Barun but I feel let down by him. He seems to be lost in someother world. I hope he understands the gravity of the situation and refrains from misleading people in future. That will be for his own good.

I have a doubt Rishy, a decision like shutting down a show will be an overnight decision? I think three parties are equally blamable in this issue. SP and PH wanted to shut the show down and BS also played his role in this. SP and PH were hiding behind BS to calm down the fans. this is what I believe. All these were pre-planned. this may be the reason why sanaya was angry during that radio interview.

SP or PH or Barun or Barun's movie PH or whoever is to be blamed for this whole offscreen drama doesn't matter anymore.

Your posts are always A TIGHT SLAP to all those faces who are still dreaming..But again I wanna say the character "ASR" is the reason behind his fanbase..people will not accept him as "Saas-bahu serial ka beta like Ahem Dikra" ...and none can create IPKKND again..So, it's a huge loss fr BS also.

Today was a difficult phase for star plus to reveal the plan which was decided after lot of things in recent days .For the first time a show was called off. Earlier there were demands to retain a show, but for first time a demand was made to shut down the show.

One way iam happy that i dont have to see sanaya/Khushi in someone arm's except Arnav.

But but what a sad demise of the NO. 1 SHOW . i dont know its a very situation.

Barun sobti is the most luckiest actor on planet to get love of fans madly. i hope the Odd 200 workers dont cherish ill feelings for the abrupt closure. Barun himself will be upset for sure that due to him the the set in kandivali is being closed soon.

SP has closed down IPK is the last wish fulfillment the channel has done for barun fans.This is it. whatever i researched , the channel doesnt wanna take chances again, If they have to try a love story it may be with a fresh new pair . ..and Yes they might try SARUN, but not soon after this bitter experience. The channel is upset that a show has to be closed down as an actor walked out due to his own reasons. Barun might get busy wit MAMR, promotions, . I feel afraid of sanya's career . i hope sanaya's pairing with some other hero in new show ahead doesnt invite trouble. Producers will be afraid of approaching sanya after this IPKKND drama. in fear of being bashed to cast sanaya with some other hero.

No producer is that determined to try SARUN..take my word. NO PH wants to get a treatment like 4 lions got. . I can just see reality shows for them ahead. Moreover except BALAJI AND 4 Lions NO other PH in the Tv industry has attempted Love stories centred around leads. Balaji faced a backlash for casting Harshad chopra with anupriya kapoor in the love story ..Tere liye. Within 9 months the show was called off. Balaji came with Kitni mohabbat hai season 2 which is co written by VED RAJ (an old balaji loyalist) but again the show was pulled down.

All other PH have played safe with family drama and issue based shows. Even Rajan shahi, (yeh rishta), Rashmi sharma( saathiya), sumeet mittal( diya bati n hum) are all into shows which have side characters like maaji, bhaiyaa ji , Bhabosa, Dadisa, Mota bhabi,,etc etc as important roles not the lead pairs. that is why Kokila modi is the face of saathiya not Gopi-Ahem. Family based shows.

The bottom line is Barun sobti along and IPKKND should have run atleast till 2013. Ahead u will see who is doing what but barun shouldnt have left whatever the circumstances be because people wont remember 4 lions and the PH will keep on making shows, it doesnt need ipkknd fans for it. Quboll hai is already doing well,, and somehow better in middle east.

Yash chopra gives a flop film like Thoda pyar thoda magic and laga chunri mein daag, but it doesnt affect the PH.But it affects actor's career like rani mukherjee. PH's never have career loss. That is why Ram Gopal varma, keeps on making movies even after continous 15 flops. and still is counted among top filmmakers. But actors 's loss is major when an actor takes wrong decisions.

rishi my only problem is why didn't they get a new face of ASR instead of closing down the show altogether.
A lot of people daily earnings could have been saved that way. Why did Sanaya had to take the burnt of Baruns decision for his family , films whatever. It's her who worked day and night to make up for Baruns absence.
Why couldn't Gul find a replacement for ASR instead of killing the character?
If Sobti indeed signed for one year only and intended to leave last Feb then they should have searched for a replacement and could have groomed and trained that actor as ASR like they did to Barun.
I feel for the other cast and crews who lost their job ABRUPTLY just because a certain actor wants to spend quality time with his wife, PH thinks the story ran its course and the channel only thought about their event managements.
I wish Sobti had changed his decision or the PH could have hired a new guy to play ASR. That way a lot of people's jobs could have been saved.
I was always in favour of a new ASR instead of ruining or ending the love story. Like it or not ITS THE CHARACTER ASR which made Sobti a superstar . Ofcourse he did justice to it but ASR made Sobti, not the other way around.

Some are telling if he is so professional towards this show so he shot both show and film at the same time even in his busy schedule and all. Yes he did but he is clever enough to handle the situation how it comes,firstly ph of this show agreed to juggle between movie and show.secondly he is not a fool to loose a stable income from the daily soap because as an actor he is very aware of the fact that this MAMR is a low budget movie and a debut ph.so he is surely in a denial to quit the show or not so he took a chance to handle both show and film.that's it.

so again when he started getting offers after his debut movie.he was quite confident about his BW career so he used to say he is feeling bore to act the same character very oftenly in the interviews.he slowly made up his mind to quit the show.so finally in sep he dropped his paper.

So some of my friends asking if he dropped his paper in sep why can't Ph is not ended this show then itself? So answer is simple then also they tried to retain him,and they think he will oblize with them as he did in his movie break. but he is adamant about his decision then ph hurried up all the remarriage track, creepwa's exit etc.

This is completely an ego issue that's it. I really don't dare to ask season 2.

And guys this is my POV.here I am not bashing barun. He has every right to chose his career. So no offence he choose film over this show.


But it's painful to think a beautiful star crossed love story is ending like this way.coz it has so much potential to go way far.

Anyways being a SARUN fan all I can do is wish them good luck for their future projects.
