The analysis was *exquisite*. I loved the ep - it was a treat on every possible level.😃 But I *adored* the analysis for taking the ep from 10/10 to 100/10 by bringing out the currents. Like playing a light on shot silk. Something fabulous suddenly looking even more so.👏👏👏
Yes, Rishabh is becoming more and more tender so long as Maddy appears to be facing him all by herself.😊 His reactions now appear to escalate from teasing to furious only when he feels she is prioritizing anyone else.
That moment when the two of them were entranced in each other was fairytale stuff. If there were some way to remove these two from the story until now and from all other characters, it would be nigh impossible for them not to be utterly and absolutely lost in love.
I had hoped that Radha would act as a bit of a cupid for Rishbala, but you're right.
Her interactions with Maddy do damage that more than balances out any relief she brings to the girl. And since Rishabh has forbidden his mother to reveal the truth about the pics, and Radha believes her son went astray despite his 'good stepfather', she is best away from Maddy.
Two things reflected in both yesterday's and today's ep have given me a tentative hopeful sense of relief.
Firstly, Bittuji. Hoping he stays positive.😊 In which case, his conduct towards Maddy seems to be that she's his chief's wife and that's that. While he respects Radha only as Rishabh's mother, her being the gullible shield that Kukku and Sikky hide behind to attack Rishabh makes any actual regard pretty much nonexistent.
But Maddy... Even when Bittuji mentions the contract or Rishabh, it no longer tends to be demeaning. And while it pleases him to see the Bhatia duo humiliated, it did seem to bother him when the chief suddenly turned harsh towards the chiefni.
Secondly, Kukku Bhatia. I was terrified for how formidable a villain this character was going to be, considering it was a role someone as big-league as Raza Murad had taken on.
But yesterday's and today's ep indicate that Kukku Bhatia may succeed in a couple of huge backstabs, but only when luck and circumstances are entirely in his favour, as during the pics mess. He's a sly fox, but does not generally take pains to see beyond the surface. And his stratagems fail to encompass Rishabh's character; his ability to hurt Rishabh seems to stem almost entirely from Rishabh's fragility in all matters associated with his deceased father.
In yesterday's ep, Kukku was gleeful at Maddy's apparent triumph over Rishabh, but failed to realize that she had actually unintentionally done Rishabh a service.😃 Rishabh had gone to the bar in desperate need of a drink to drown out horrific memory, and instead sat on, amused and enthralled by the next-level challenge his Biwi had just become. Maddy made the present and the immediate future so very interesting that the trauma of the past receded utterly.😃
Also, re. Maddy, the possibility of her becoming like RK strangely enough brings to mind Goddess Kali, probably from watching the lovely 'Devon Ke Dev Mahadev' eps directly preceding 'Madhubala'. And the way Rishbala could forget everything else for those few moments at the stairs is a reassuring thing. No matter how bad things get, or how infuriated they are with each other, putting one in truly extreme apparent peril - physical, emotional, reputation or otherwise - may always be enough to snap the other to their senses and bring them to the rescue, briefly as well as forever.😊
