Shane I loved your version of the climax of Heroine, that woudl truly be a class act! But alas, I dont think Madhur is that creative 😆

Yeah even I have to say, some portions of this interview were very endearing and well answered.

But there are certain statements that have become her trademark that really grate on my nerves. Its not that she disses others anymore or directly praises herself, but I HATE the "I'm the only one blah blah" or "I'm the first blah blah" kinda statements.

She's improved a lot over the years, now if she only ditches these statements alongside the "acting is in my blood" and "I've wanted to act since I was in my mother's womb" type statements, I'll be a happy camper.

But as Bebo said, she just recently finished 300 pgs, and its a slow improvment, I'll take that as a metaphor for her "evolution", as she puts it, lol

see desu if she redeems herself ..its fashion

if she commits suicide - its tdp.

the script has to be tight..and i mean tight. the direction, with EDITING has to be a near perfect. we KNOW the music is pretty much lousy, hopefully the background music makes up.

AND bebo has to tower all.

btw.. desu...might as well ask you in this post...why in most bollywood movies when the actor/actress goes psycho..they throw things at the mirror. i see bebo doing in heroine, pc did same for fashion, so did vidya i guess. why??

cannot believe director shouting ...ready go...THROW and SCREAM.

psychos can be put in a dark room alone...and sob ...i think this will make more impact then this attack at the poor mirror.

I think Heroine is really a true test to see what Kareena's capable of in comparison to actresses like Konkona or Tabu..

Madhur and Kareena said that this role has the most amount of layers and depth Madhur's ever given to his heroines whether it was Tabu, Konkona, PC, etc. It provides Kareena with so much room to show her acting skills since a female role like this was never written before..

Let's See.

Good script/role = Great performance.

I hope this happens.

true test not only in acting dept, but also the star power. the movie has to perform at boxoffice as well.

I can safely say that no actor in my position would want to play a declining superstar.Everyone wants to play a heroine who is at her peak and glamorous, who will either kill herself or become a superstar.

I liked the interview except for this bit. Bcuz I thought of Vidya who had played that part in TDP. Although she was not a superstar in the movie, but her insecurity, decline and rejection and all that Bebo is claiming Heroine promises has been done already. Sometimes, I wish TDP came after Heroine😆... not that I am a big fan of Bebo or something, but there was no depth in the former and I couldn't feel for Silk's downfall and loss... lets see how Madhur handles it!

My faith in Heroine is all time high. If not this, then what?

I'm getting good vibes in terms fo Bebo's character from this. She normally drops hints as to what to expect.

In Agent Vinod, she kept piping htat its Saif's dream project. She talked more about his character than her own.

In Ra.One she was clear from teh start - I wanted memorable dance numbers.

In Kambakkht Ishq, she kept talking about the costumes.

There was one major brain fart, with Bodyguard, saying something like how its her best after JWM, that was one major W*F.

For Heroine, she just has this confident grin. She's not saying too much about her own performance, and that's why I'm excited, coz she didnt say anything for JWM or Kurbaan either, and i Loved her role in both

I actually found this statement of her's completely w*f and very insecure..
I'm sure Vidya and PC would never backdown from such a role.. They're always ready to take risks and do something different.
In-fact now that I think of it, what is she trying to say? It doesn't make sense.. 😕
If actors can put on prosthetics or weight, or make their skin darker, why would they only wanna play the glamorous bit..
Her nervousness shows in the interview..

Wow...Saif says this and Saif says that.

It's kind of cute but kind of not Kareena at the same time. She seems to be trying so hard to fit into Saif's world. I think she needs to just be herself.

She is actually much less arrogant in this interview than she usually is.

I want this film to do well because I think Kareena is a good actor and people need to get that for once and for all.
