Why Should Khushi Always be the Sufferer?

I know Her Highness Gul Khan said this was a story from Arnav's perspective ...his sister and his love. I also know there are going to be more chappals, tomatoes and aloo thrown at me than the missiles in the movie 'Battleship'!

But as we head into more MUs, saas bahu scenes , soapy scenes and an Arnav grumbling about his discomfort, I dream ( in my parallel universe)...DON'T laugh ...Anjali is also in her own universe!😡🤢😕

I dream of -

- of Khushi getting the love and happiness she richly deserves...

- of Khushi not always being the sacrificial lamb...

- of Khushi not being the only one whose life is ripped apart while others...be it Anjali,Snake or Payal live blissfully!

- of Arnav emerging from his obsession for his sister

- of Anjali shedding tears of blood because to keep her in her parallel universe, everyone takes suffering on her behalf

- of Anjali actually cultivating a BRAIN (believe me, even Daljeet will appreciate that!)

- of villains other than the one and only serpent in the garden

- of Khushi finding a guy who loves only her and not just his own sister

- of NK coming back and cheering up and being Khushi's friend through thick and thin

- of not having to shed tears of blood when I see Khushi suffer as always!

I know Gul Begum ain't gonna change the obsessive, compulsive relationship for anyone and anything, but GOD STILL GAVE ME THE RIGHT TO DREAM!

Ok, so start throwing the missiles...oops...the things mentioned above, though I must confess I have a weakness for footwear of the world's best high end brands! And I'll try and enlist in the air force so that I have a few missiles of my own !😆

Khushi may be portrayed as the sacrificial lamb..but in the process, Arnav doesn't come out unscathed...even he gets hurt, beyond words, beyond what he can ever portray...or tell, its just that his character is TOO private and he thinks he is better off feeling things ALONE rather, showing it openly, like Khushi does.

What I mean is, both have different ways to deal with situation, both have different coping methods, but in the end, both of them love each other to death.

They can't survive without each other.

And, hence, will definitely be together.

So, relax! :)

Tumhare muuh mein ghee,shakar,chocolates,pastries,jilebis etc,etc,etc.

Firstly for not throwing missiles at me and secondly for saying I will live to see the day Arnav will put khushi over airhead! Muah! I could just kiss you for that statement!😉😆

But, I think that it doesn't matter if Arnav puts khushi above his sister or not, in my opinion, I think every relation has their place...in arnav's life, Anjali is like his mother, can anyone replace a mother? No...even if its Khushi...I don't ever want her to replace Anjali..

What I mean is, Arnav's love should be STRONG, like he feels inside, it should COME OUT. He should support the RIGHT thing. HE must KNOW that Khushi will NEVER think ill of his family!

And, he must start standing up for Khushi. That would be where Khushi's trust would be formed.

And, the way CV's have showed Anjali's character, I think she is a person on whom Jealousy will NEVER work! She might get sad or something, but never jealous, and Arnav is shown as a DAMN protective brother, who loves his sister alot, he can never let Anjali slip...never...and if EVER it happens because of Khushi's presence in his life, then, KHUSHI herself will make sure that Anjali and Arnav's bond stay as strong as ever...

That's the beauty of "Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon" 😊

I think both Arnav AND Khushi get lots of pain,They both sacrifise too much for the people they love but ultimately they'll reap the rewards! GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE<3

It's my first and LAST serial of Gul Khan. Thank heavens I didn't put myself through the agony of watching Geet! Gul enjoys women suffering far tooo much for my liking.

I know women do suffer...but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it onscreen also!

I guess Arnav doesn't have the emotional strength to differentiate between a sister and a mother. And I for one would not mind Khushi replacing Anjali. Like you said each relationship has its place...but when one relationship causes agony to all others, it's not worth it.

And yes, instead of "meri behna" all the time, Arnav should show the strength of character to side the RIGHT. But for that his love is weak...else he wouldn't have trusted Snake's version of the truth SOOO easily. And for the day he stands up for Khushi, I fear I will be dead and gone by then!

Anjali, when she doesn't get her way, sulks and behaves like a 5yr old and everyone seeing that gives in. She to me has immense potential to be jealous and to hurt Khushi if it means she gets her way. And maybe also the remote possibility of turning into the villain in place of her husband.

But yes, the long-suffering Khushi will sacrifice her joy as usual to maintain their bond...as she has demonstrated before!
