No, I hadn't heard that one, aruna!! I love it!!

LOL about pendulum - yes that happens a lot esp in arr/vairamutthu songs.... Part of the problem I think is that literary Tamil is so different from spoken Tamil... there may be a tamil word for pendulum, but no one will know what it is!!
